hey resham an awesome topic again π π π and that too wonderfully described π not like me, just giving the hint to evry1 π
ok so here i am with my views π
Was Sumit right in marrying Kumkum?............Well the answer to this question lies in the fact that they both accepted each other & we as audience also accepted their marriage. Although Sumit was forced to marry Kumkum under the circumstances prevailing that time, due to Vishal not coming & the promise he made to dadaji, yet he maintained his so-called "forced relationship" with full honesty. He never once thought about Renuka while putting sindoor in Renuka's maang, although it was shown that he loved her. After his marriage also, when there were misunderstandings between himself & Kumkum & went to stay at Renuka's home & Renuka tried to seduce him, to make him betray Kumkum, he did not waiver at all. He knew that he was married & Kumkum was his wife & he only had to take care of her. Though the circumstances forced him to take this big step, he never thought of Kumkum as a burden on him. Even before their marriage, he gave a lot of importance to Kumkum in his life, which was not tolerated by Renuka. This shows that he was more concerned about Kumkum, earlier also, than his so-called love Renuka. He did everything to prevent his family & most importantly Kumkum from being disgraced, whatever he did is just not possible practically, nobody will take that big a step for their family, but that's what Sumit is..........all love for his family & fully aware of his duties and responsibilities. Jatin's death changed a lot, in Kumkum, in Sumit & in their relationship, even before their marriage. When earlier they were good friends who shared their secrets & problems with each other, after Jatin's death, there developed a silent understanding between them, in which neither had to explain his or her feelings or emotions to the other, this was the beginning of the new phase of their life, because this is what they both carried forward to their marriage. Sumit, despite being in love with Renuka, despite being compelled to marry Kumkum against both of their wishes, never once let her feel that she is bound in a relationship that just has to be maintained throughout without any affection. He gave time to this relationship to grow, to become mature. Whatever hurdles they had to face, against all odds, he supported Kumkum because he trusted her and felt that being a husband, it is his duty to do so. HE himself never felt that his decision was wrong, neither did he gave any opportunity to Kumkum to feel so, then how can we say that his decision was wrong, when the truth is that it was the not only the biggest, but also the best & the most correct decision of Sumit and Kumkum's life.
I also agree with amrit that Sumit always had a soft corner for Kumkum more than one has for his sister-in-law, that's why he always talked about & thought of Kumkum in front of Renuka.
2nd ques. 2. Would u have agreed if he had gone back to ren and kk returning to vishal?
arre yaar mera itna lamba chauda 1st answer dekhkar toh samajh aa hi gaya hoga π.........NO WAYS !!!!! π π
& now Sumit's rating........he is the bestest husband i've ever seen, who loves his wife more than anything else in this world, who understands her more tham she understands herself & stands besides her holding her hands always & promises to do so till eternity (barring the present BT track π) so no guesses as to what my rating would be..............a 10/10............though i wanna give him as many marks as possible π³ π³ π³
one more thing i want to add is, its in hindi, it is said that "chaahat aur mohabbat mein bahut fark hota hai, chaahat to zindagi mein kai baar hoti hai, lekin sachhii mohabbat sirf ek baar" π³ π³ π aur mujhe nahi lagta ki ye kehna galat hoga ki Jatin aur Renuka, Kumkum aur Sumit ki chaahat the, lekin Kumkum aur Sumit ek doosre ki mohabbat hain. π³
i know ki kuch zyaada hi lambaa ho gaya...........but kya karoon couldn't control my emotions π³ π³ plz bear with me π³
