Sumit frowns and hugs his mom

V - koi baat nahin, mujhe yakeen hai, bohat jald kahe gi

S - i hope so mom!

Part 7

Sumit reached to work the next day and met the manager

M - Sumit, tumhare liye ek bohat hi achi offer hai

S - acha? kaunsi offer?

M - a concert

S - concert?

M - yes maine tumhare liye ek concert book kiya hai, dheko

The manager shows Sumit the concert flyers and posters

S - lekin....

M - is lekin ki vajaa se maine tumhe bataya nahin

S - main ye kaise?

M - simple....time se jagaa par paunch jao...fhir make up aur kapre pehnlo then do the show

S - teek hai sir jaise aap kahein

Sumit smiled then joined Rahul

R - hey buddy

S - tumhe pata tha?

R - kis baare mein?

S - concert ke baare mein?

R - oh...yes

S - tho mujhe kyun nahin bataya

R - kyunki tumne na kardena tha, ab chill buddy, aur concert ki tayariyan karlo

S - teek hai main jaa raha hoon

R - kahan?

S - Kumkum ko milne

Sumit left the cafe and went to Kumkum's college, he waited outside patiently for her. After about 1 hours worth of waiting Sumit got bored and decided to go inside the college, he went to the main reception

S - excuse me, i'm looking for Kumkum

R - surname?

S - surname...Kumkum....erm.....yaad nahin aah raha

R - ok....aap unke kya lagta hai?

S - family friend

R - aur koi khaas vaaja hai?

S - haan voh.....uske dada ji hospital mein hai, main unhe lene aaya hoon

R - ok sir, sit down, hum usse lekar aate hai

Sumit sat down......meanwhile Kumkum was gossiping with the girls in her class when she was called out by the receptionist

K - yes maam?

R - aapke koi rishtidaar aaya hai, keh raha aapke dada ji hospital mein hai

K - mere dada ji (thinks) voh tho bachpan mein mar gaye the....tho yeh kaun mujhse milne aaya hai (to receptionist) ok maam chaliye

The receptionist and Kumkum made their way to the front office, Kumkum saw Sumit's back and walked over to him, she put her hand on his shoulder and Sumit stood up

K - tum! yahan kyun aaye ho?

S - tumse milne.....chalo hospital jaate hai

K - hospital?

S (looks at receptionist) - haan voh tumhare dada ji ko milne chalo jaldi

Sumit held Kumkum's hand and took her outside, when they sat in the car Sumit began laughing, Kumkum hit him

K - ye sab karne ki kya zuroorat thi?

S - kabse yahan tumhara intezaar kar raha tha....tum aayi nahin thi tho main tumhe lene aah gaya

K - dada ji ka bahana banake? voh dadaji jo mar chuke hai

S - oh..sorry....mujhe aur koi bahana yaad nahin aah raha tha, ab larne ka koi faida nahin chalo

K - kahan?

S - lunch pe

K - lekin meri class?

S - ab class ko chordo....

Sumit started the car and drove to a nice restaurant and him and Kumkum ordered food, while they were eating....

S - tum aaj kya kar rahi ho?

K - pata nahin kyun?

S - mera ek concert hai....manager ne book kiya, tum aao zuroor

K - concert? wow so exciting!! yes i'll definitely come with my friends

S - very good

After lunch

K - ab mujhe college chordo please

S - uff hoo teek hai

Sumit dropped her off.......that evening Kumkum and her friends got ready for the concert, when they got there Kumkum realised they had no tickets (😆)

R - tu bhi na....jab voh tumse milne aaya tha, tab yaad nahin aaya

K - nahin aaya yaad...ab kya karein

E - usko phone kar

K - ok (phones Sumit) hello Sumit voh hum aah gaye

S - tho andhar aah jao

K - lekin humhare paas tickets nahin hai

S - oh, erm koi baat nahin main Rahul ko tickets ke saath bej tha hoon

K - ok (hangs up) uska dost aah raha hai tickets lekar

The girls wait for a while when Rahul comes with the tickets.

Rah - here you go

K - thanks, chalo girls

The girls went inside, it was very crowded, they made their way to the front somehow, soon the announcer came on stage

A - good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever gig of new sensation Sumit Whadwa! give him a huge round of applause

everyone cheered and clapped as Sumit came on stage

S -THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

The lights dimmed, Sumit looked for the girls and saw them in the first row cheering him on, the music began, a spot light shone on Sumit showing him wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and blue trousers with a microphone headset. He began singing Main Deewana from Ganesh Hegde

The crowd cheered, Sumit looked into the crowd and saw Kumkum, he smiled at her and blew a kiss, she blushed, the crowd shouted for more. Sumit sang some more songs making the crowd go wild, each time he would look at Kumkum but during one song she wans't there......Kumkum had gone outside for some fresh air, while she was there she bumped into someone, she got shocked
