Rach is on her way to the doctor's surgery, she arrives
Rach - i have an appointment with Dr Shah
receptionist - sorry Maam but Dr Shah is not here, aap yahan wait kar sakti hai, she shall be back soon
Rach - oh i see, thank you
Her phone rings, its Kumkum
Kumkum - Rach beta kya hua doctors ne kya kaha?
Rach - abhi tak kkuch nahin, doctor yahan nahin hai Mama voh thodi dher mein aayenge
Kumkum - oh tho jab kuch pata lag jayega tab mujhe phone kardena acha
Rach - ji Mama
She hangs up and picks a magazine up and waits. Elsewhere at the Malhotra House.....
Aman - Shravan....kahan ho tum?
Aman looks around and cant find Shravan, she is outside on the balcony, she waits for a bit and turns around, she sees someone in front of her and screams, she closes her eyes and hears someone laughing, when she opens her eyes she sees its Shravan who was wearing a scary mask
Aman - Shravan tum!
Shravan (laughs) - tumhari.....shakal.....(laughs again)
Aman looks at him angrily and takes her chapal off, Shravan runs from her laughing, after a while she stops running and sits down, he comes and sits by her, he looks at her and nudges her but she shifts away from him, he gets closer
Shravan - sorry....
shes still silent
Shravan - hey im sorry....dar gayi?
Aman looks at him and gives him an evil look
Shravan - o..k...hmmmmmm
he gets on his knees in front of Aman and holds his ears
Shravan - baba im sorry....fhir se nahin karoon ga...maaf kardo na....pleaseeeee
Aman looks at him and melts, she pats the sofa for him to sit by her
Shravan - maaf kar diya?
Aman - tumne bohat daraya mujhe.....maaf tho kardoon gi lekin pehle tumhe sazaa mile gi
Shravan - tumhara hukam sar aankhon par...kehkar dheko
Aman looks at him, later Shravan is shown doing lots of seva for Aman, while she is lying on the bed.
Shravan - kahan phaas gaya....ab maaf bhi kardo
Aman (laughs) - acha chalo maaf kiya
Shravan - thank god
He lifts Aman of the bed and twirls her around, he sings Shikdum from Dhoom

receptionist - Mrs Whadwa, the doctor will see you now
Rach - thank you
She gets up and goes inside
Dr Shah - Hello Mrs Whadwa, kaho main aap ke liye kya kar sakti hoon?
Rach - i think im pregnant, tho main yahan yeh pata lagane aayi hoon ke voh positive hai ya nahin
Dr Shah - oh i see? tho chalo main aapko examine karti hoon
The doctor examines Rach, 30 minutes later Rach sits down
Dr Shah - well Mrs Whadwa...sach tho yeh hai ke aap pregnant......nahin ho
Rach (upset) - oh....i see doctor
Dr Shah - lekin iska matlab nahin hai ke aap aur Mr Whadwa koshish karna bandh karlo. im sure that one day aap mere paas aayenge aur main aapko kush khabri doon gi
Rach - i understand doctor
She leaves the surgery and walks home, on the way she is thinking about how to tell Sharman the bad news
Rach (thinks) - kitna kush tha sochke ke main pregnant hoon, ab kitna udaas hoga..kaise kahoon
Her phone rings its Kumkum
Rach - Mama...main aap ko phone karne vali thi
Kumkum - koi baat nahin, kya kaha doctor ne?
Rach - Mama.....results negative hai
Kumkum - oh beta, chalo tum fikar mat karo, kuch bigra nahin hai, tum udaas mat ho ok
Rach - Mama main tho teek hoon, lekin....Sharman...pata nahin kaise react karega
Kumkum - Sharman thodi dher ke liye udaas hoga, par voh teek hojayega acha beta
Rach - ok Mama
She hangs up and calls Sharman, she tells him the news, hes silent
Rach - Sharman....Sharman.....
Sharman - tum chinta mat karo main teek hoon..it doesnt matter, hum fhir se koshish karenge acha?
Rach (smiles) - acha
She hangs up and goes home, on the other side Sharman is sitting in the office, he is sad
Sharman (thinks) - hey bhagwan tumne humhari kushiyan aane se pehle hi cheen li, aisa kyun hua.....agar Rach pregnant nahin thi tho kyun humhe yeh ehsaas diya ke voh hai
Sharman is sad, he sits in his chair thinking. The song Yaar Mangyasi from Kaante plays in the background

Sharman finishes work and decides not to mope around, he goes and buys Rach some flowers and choclates, he arrives home and gives them her
Rach - so sweet, tum na bohat romantic ho
Sharman - haan because im Whadwa...Sharman Whadwa.....
Rach smiles at him, then looks in his eyes and sees hes been crying, she breaks down
Rach - im sorry Sharman...im sorry
Sharman - hey kya hua? tum ro kyun rahi ho
Rach (crying) - maine tumhara saapna thod diya, tum kitne kush the yeh soch kar ke main ma baane vali hoon aur maine yeh saapna sach hone se pehle thod diya im sorry Sharman
Sharman (also crying) - ismein tumhari koi galti nahin, yeh tho kismet ka kehl hai, hey meri taraf dheko, Rach meri taraf dheko, mujhe dhuk hua yeh sunkar ke tum ma nahin baane vali, lekin yeh upar vaale ki marzzi hai is par humhara zor nahin chalta. Tumhari galti nahin hai, tum mere paas ho, mujhe itna hi chahe
Both are crying in each others arms, Sumit and Kumkum watch from the door, both have tears in their eyes. Sumit is about to go in but Kumkum stops him
Kumkum - nahin Sumit, in dono ko aapne aap ko samalne do, yeh waqt inko aur bhi kareeb ladhe ga, hum kal inse baat karenge
Sumit - lekin main Sharman ko is halat mein nahin dhek sakta
Kumkum - main bhi nahin dhek sakti lekin jo hona tha voh hogaya
The next day the Whadwa family along with Aman and Shravan are in the living room, they are all upset hearing the news, Rach and Sharman are being consoled by Siya and Dhruv, when the phone rings, Rach answers. The conversation is one sided
Rach - hello?...kaun? kisse baat karna chahte, oh my god tum? kahan ho? yahan aah rahi ho? tahts great, haan hum intezaar kar rahe hai. See you soon
Shravan - Di, kaun tha...aap itne kush ho?
Rach - haan voh meri dost........
