I wanted to discuss this topic before also, but now I got the chance.Everytime I had read the comments most said Sumit made Kumkum cry. But nobody saw the other side of the story. For me, Sumit loves Kumkum more.This is my view point.

First lets discuss the photographs shown. That time Sumit was shocked. He had the rson to be shocked. 1. Miscarriage . 2. Confusion whether Kumkum is alive or not. It only depicted his love for Kumkum. He never blame Kumku for the miscarriage though Kumkum was responsible for it. If you watch the episodes carefully, doctor had advised her to take great care of herself otherwise it would be hazardous for the baby.But ignoring all this she had gone for Shamu's treatment. People say that Sumit should have believed that she was Kumkum. But how he believe. Kumkum had not told him the truth before.. If you watch the episodes carefully, you will find that Sumit cried alot thinking that he had lost his beloved. Doesn't it depict his true love.

Another picture shown is of Jatin's track. Most of the viewers say that Sumit left Kumkum and made her cry. But have you ever notice the torture that Sumit went through. OK he left Kumkum that time but it does not showed that he not loved Kumkum. He was not only a husband but also a son and a brother. And if you watch the episodes you will find that he was emotionally shattered and broken. Nobody supported him. His own blamed him. SHe thougth only of Jatin. He was made to feel he was responsible for Jatin's condition. For the sake of his family, mother and brother he had to take this desision.But he was not happy. I suppose nobody saw his tears. Everybody thought that he had done wrong by leaving her. But actually he had tortured himself.

These were the two occassions. I had only kept my view point as I found many viewer had blame Sumit for his actions. But keeping oneself in Sumit's shoes you can find that he was not at fault.

There was one more occasion where many viewers had blame Sumit and that was Salil's track. Here I would again like to focus that Sumit is not only a husband but also a man who has responsibilities towards his family. Salil had given all the clues that he was innocent. There also to a point Kumkum was responsible for her own condition. When she had the tape showing that Salil murdered Nalli she should have shown it to Sumit but not. And what was the use to tell the culprits that she had the proof. That was the mistake that she had done.In all these how Sumit is responsible.

But he had proved his true love many a time.

1. At the time of his first marriage anniversary when Chanda was there he was not aware that Kumkum was not with him. When Chanda refuse for feras, Sumit thinking that she Kumkum respected her decision thinking that may be it reminded Kumkum of Jatin. If you watch the episode you will find that Chanda in her mind said that Kumkum tumne zaroor kuch ache karm kiye hinge tabi tumhe aisa jeevan sathi mila.

2. He accepted the decision for the abortion of his baby.

3. in the confusion between Chanda and Kumkum track only Sumit's great love for Kumkum was shown. The unlimited tears was the proof.

4. In Nivi's track also Sumit's great love was shown. And if you analse the track it was Kumkum who was responsible for whatever happened. OK Nivi was her friend and she was looking after her. But there is a limit ti everything. It Kumkum who had given the chance to Nivi to come close to their personal lives. For example, if your husband had given some gift espeially on your anniversay you should not share it with anybody. Kumkum had given her saree to nivi gifted to her by Sumit + had also allowed her to get ready to her own room. When Nivi was acting that she is in trouble Kumkum used to push Sumit in front.

5. Then in Krishna's track when Kumkum lost her memory and Sumit searching her, there ws one dialogue of Purvi Joshi's character," Aisa jeevansathi toh her ladki ka kawaab hota hai".

6. And the most important scene which depicted Sumit's unconditional love was the death of Sumit-Kumkum.

Well this was my feelings. Everybody has their own. But I just thought why everytime Sumit was blamed. He was not responsible for Kumkum's tears because everytime Sumit was hurt more.

well I had mentioned before also that Sumit was not only a husband but a responsible son also. During Jatin/Manik track, he was emotionally blackmailed by his mother. Even dadaji not supported him openly. Dadaji had kept the decision on time and on three of them. Jatin/Manik emotionally blackmailed him. Made him think that Sumit was responsible for Jatin's condition. And Veena what to say about her. She only thought of Jatin as it seem that Sumit was not her son. And leaving Kumkum was the situation he was compelled to do. Do you saw the trauma that sumit suffered that time. He couldn't live without Kumkum but still for the sake of his brother and family he had to take this decision. Even Kumkum had found no fault in Sumit taking this decision. She had told him that yes I know that tum ek pareeksha de rahe ho ek bhai hone ka ek zimedar bete hone ka.

Then the track of Abha-Sumit marriage. Lets analyse it. Sumit was not ready for it. But the situations.

Ok lets discuss the situations.

Firstly, Kumkum herself showed that she is having affair with Yash though she was compelled to do so by Renuka. That time Sumit was only thinking about Kumkum but when he saw her with Yash, it broke him. Kumkum forced by Renuka had built the bridge between herself and Sumit. And a person in Sumit place will automatically believe that they are having an affair. Don't you remember Nivi's track. Situation was same only vice versa of characters. in sumit's place it was Kumkum and in Kumkum's place it Sumit. Here in this track Kumkum also misjudge Sumit in the beginning. Same had happened in yash case. Sumit had agreed for the marriage because he was broken and hurt. He thought his love was lost. His family forced him to marry. But from his heart he had not accepted this rishta. That time also he was thinking about Kumkum. After marriage Kumkum herself had told that she was the one who forced Sumit to believe that she is having an affair with yash like Sumit made Kumkum believe that he is having affair with Nivi.

So before blaming anybody one should keep oneself in one's shoes. Many a time the situation, circumstances lead the person to do the unexpected.This has happened to Kumkum also. For the sake of family she had to bear tortures. Same was with Sumit. He never knowingly had tried to hurt Kumkum. But he was hurt more seeing the tears in Kumkum's eyes.

Here I would like to comment even I feel that both their lone i.e. sumit's love for Kumkum and Kumkum's love for Sumit was equal. But I feel that Sumit was unnecessary blamed. Because if we keep another person in his place we find that what a good husband he was who most of the time supported Kumkum. Because normally a person who knows that his wife his pregnant with his child but the wife does not want the child (chanda track) though he desperately want it would really get angry . When a person would know that his unborn child is no more due to the fault of his wife he would naturally blame his wife but not in this case. There are many more incident I can describe but it would be the complete analysis the the story taking many pages.

But the gist is that both loved each other from the core of their heart. I would request not to blame any of them because the situations and circumstances had led them for their actions.
