14th December - a day when a beautiful angel came into the world...a day when a star was born...a day when a face and name which would etched into people's hearts and brains forever came into being...a day which brought to us the one and only
Juhi has wanted to be an actress since she was 15 years old. Born in Ujjain, brought up in Jaipur in Rajasthan, Juhi started off with a minor role in Jee Sahab, went on to do Woh, amidst a lot of competition, managed to bag the title role of Shaheen, then did a variety of roles in Devi, Tere Ishq Mein, Pehchaan, Yeh Jeevan Hai, Rishtey, Choodiyan, before getting the big break with Kumkum - Pyara Sa Bandhan, wherein she has essayed the title role with much aplomb for the past 6 years. She has also made special appearances in widely reknowned shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kkusum, and participated in various game shows.
Being a born winner, she started off with The Miss Rajasthan title in 1999, Fav Bahu, Fav Babhi at Star Parivaar Awards, the much sought-after Fav Patni (Star Parivaar Awards) thrice, and the hugely-recognized Best Actress Critics (Female) at the Indian Telly Awards in 2005.
Her Social Commitments include sponsoring a baby girl under "Project Crayons" and she is with Rotary, year 2004 in their quest to kick Polio finally out of India.
Juhi is a multi-talented young lady and has proven her versatility by diversifying into various fields like anchoring (Antakshari - The Great Challenge, Star Voice of India Independence Special, Nach Baliye 3 - Dance for Charity, Allah Tero Naam Ishwar Tero Naam), singing (Say Shaava Shaava where she emerged in the Top 3), stand-up comedy ( she was the Winner of Comedy Circus 2, making a fantabulous pair with her partner VIP) and dancing (Saas VS Bahu). She has also performed at various events time and again with the perfect ease of having been there done that!
Having experimented to her heart's satisfaction in all areas, Juhi is now all ready to set out a new journey. She is all set to tie the knot with her beaue Sachin Shroff on 15th February, 2009. Sachin has only one thing to say for the love of his life - SHE COMPLETES ME!...We wish them both a very happy married life and pray that their love and trust in each other grows by leaps and bounds day by day.
