The actress, who had been portraying girl-next-door characters till now, is excited about her role in the show. She says, ?I have never played something like this before, it?s quite different and unlike me. I play a conventional daughter-in-law who is selfless. Besides, the new traditional and ethnic look that I?m sporting these days is like a breather after playing roles of simple girls in the past. I love the jazzed up look of my character.?
