The show never cared about woman empowerment. It always pitted women against women with men clueless about shit. Moreover if they keep on making villain's win why would audience want to watch recycled garbage when they have so many options.

2 years back in wikipedia wasn't it written like that? About the show.... I don't remember which interview but Ekta had said this was a whole new project on women empowerment. Then again, what do I know?🤪

Why can't people say anything against the show? Being so defensive is rather boring than criticism. Don't like the criticisms, don't read.

And yes Ekta started it as a adaptation of a phirang novel, with a lead who had self respect but she quickly threw everything out the window.

And now that I think about, what happened to purvi...? I've watched the episodes from 2014-mid 16 left and right and still can't get an answer. Did she die too?

I have no love lost for the show as a whole. please criticise as much as you like. But the whining is boring too. the same chant about how can the show run for 7 years and all. so redundant.
