Rhea is a spoilt brat. Abheera and the entire family are to be blamed for the way she has shaped up.

Abhi was drinking/under alcohol influence [self confessed] when Pragya left him [meh, which was mutual separation] so obviously Rhea will note and take such habits, no rocket science.

I doubt viewers get influenced with characters in this show [They are trolled like no other. Even my granny trolls some characters]...Also, no one is this negative [for no reason]/stupid in real life.

Because in the kkb which airs on zeetv, Prachi even argued with Ranbir when he pointed out Pragya-Rhea angle & Prachi even fought with Rhea, Aliya for her mom [Diwali 2020]. She even broke up with Ranbir because Rhea blackmailed her about her parents' relationship. now that Pragya ended up in jail, Pranbir were the one who bailed her out. Prachi all the time trying to cheer Pragya.

Prachi has always kept her mother before anything, anyone else.

And Ranbir is also restless thinking about Abhi. He tried to meet him but clearly Mehras are keeping some secret. He can't trespass, can he?

At this point Prachi and Ranbir have done so much for the parents that whatever they’ve done for Prachi and Ranbir is negligible in comparison.

As far as Rhea is concerned, she’s a 20+ individual with a functioning mind and conscience that’s evident every time she plots a murder, a fake molestation case, makes an mms , blackmailing her own sister with her parents” happiness which she personally doesn’t seem to give a damn about etc. and manages to get away with it. She is smart. She is perfectly capable of making decisions for herself and differentiate the right from wrong. Yet she chooses wrong. She pushes away people who care for her, she’s unnecessarily rude to them and what not. She is her own problem and needs medical attention for that. Nothing about her is excusable or redeemable.

As far as her alcoholism is concerned , she’s probably learnt it from people around her who did the same which was quite evident many a times. The whole fam seems to rely on it at times so that’s that.

Papa ki pari has always been a weak character from start. She never had her own agency. Always needing a crutch to survive first it was puppa then buji sometimes mummy then prachi or ranbir. Now she is using alcohol

She has been a dead weight on Abhigya/Pranbir' or even her buji's neck since inception

I would hope the writers just cut their losses and send her one way ticket to timbaktoo for mental rehabilitation

Whatever that is happening to Rhea, she kind of deserves it. No amount of excuses like she didn’t have her mother around and her father was busy with being alcoholic will not create any kind of sympathy for her, atleast from me. She’s an adult very well capable of taking decisions and she chose to be a criminal and a puppet to her dear Booji. She knows both her father and mother love her a lot. She even knows Prachi doesn’t think bad about her. Yet she decides to hurt them or use them for her own selfish motives.

She is otherwise not going to jail thanks to her family who are ready to go to great lengths to cover up her crimes. I expected this from her father but her mother who proclaims to be self-righteous is also trying to cover up her crimes only because she’s their daughter. If Rhea is getting sympathy here, Aliya should also get sympathy because even after living a luxurious life with a big family, she didn’t have both parents, she only had a brother who was busy being a rockstar.

The only people who are suffering here are Ranbir and Prachi. I’m not just saying this because i love them. But if one would remove their blind chashma, they could see clearly how they are being treated and used by their own families for their selfish motives.

Prachi still didn’t get justice for even the murder attempt on her plus other things Rhea, Aliya, Sanju and the whole Mehra and Kohli clans did. Yet she isn’t getting any sympathy here. She is instead bashed for taking a stand for her ‘strong’ mother who has ‘a big thing called self-respect’. Why? Because of the fact that somewhere or the other she’s much much better than others including her mother. Nobody wants to give her any credit for how she only thinks about her parents (who only remember her when they need something from her related to Rhea mostly) most of the time where as the daughter who left her mother for her to cry on the road is getting sympathy here.

Ranbir still didn’t get justice for what Rhea did with him in that Maya’s case. Yet nobody cares about him. He’s just a boy who’s apparently playing with both sisters, when the truth is one of them literally tried to destroy his life. Still he gets no sympathy. So weird.

Anyway i don’t care what that alcoholic daughter and her parents do as long as it doesn’t affect my Pranbir! That’s it!!

@red: agreed as well. Children do follow after the example shown to them. I am not surprised

Weather the viewers get influences or not is a different matter. Bht i still believe this things should be handled with sensitivity.

That i know and understand. She is beyond redemption. I am shocked pragya hasn't sent her to jail for all the things she has done.

That is my concern too!! She’s still capable of hurting or killing others and her mother who is known to be a self-righteous woman is trying to protect her!! Heck the person who her daughter hurt real bad is her daughter too! No wonder they couldn’t protect their elder daughter who is no more!! I hope Prachi one day questions her about this!!

Not sure if it gives a message that parents should try and protect their children when they commit such crimes! But don’t wanna go deep into all that!! Because as u said this is kkb and not all of them take this show seriously!

like you mentioned the message that is going out to the audience matters. at least for me. that is why I say this drinking problem should be taken seriously.
