I know Tanu entering the show has made almost all of us mad. But from where I see it, keeping Abhi's current condition in mind, the makers are trying to not only keep the focus on Abhigya, but also trying to keep the Parents - Kids scenario completely separate.

The memory loss/volatile mind track will require the DP cast to be as far away from Abhi as possible. So indirectly 2 parallel stories can run without almost any interaction with each other.

That’s the best thing to happen. I am not interested in seeing them as parents. Specially as her daughter looks the same age as Pragya. The production house never gave them a 50 year old getup either , only some boring sarees to Pragya so that she looks older than Prachi.
