Yep ranbir is very possessive of prachi, in fact on friday's episode, he gets mad at prachi when ranbir looks at a girl and says to prachi she is hot and prachi flirtatiously says to ranbir I will wear short clothes too then he will find her hot too, and ranbir says she doens't need to change, but then he starts his act of trying to get her to hate him by insulting her by saying that she does not have the right personality to wear short clothes and he makes prachi cry, but it's so tough for him making prachi cry that he instantly regrets it and starts drinking. And he gets drunk and apologises to prachi.
See ranbir is so possessive of prachi that he doesn't even want prachi to change herself unnecessarily and gets mad at prachi for suggesting that she will start wearing short clothes, but then he turns it into a way to try with his mission get prachi to hate him act and right away he can't stand it and finds it difficult to hurt her. He is possessive of prachi so much even here so how will he will be able to see prachi with anybody else.
