I was reading somewhere since the web users are growing so by launching Zee 5 app and airing the shows on The app before TV.

EK plans to shift the focus from TV to web channel.

Maybe in future they will change the method and TRP will not just be on the basis on BARC rating but web viewership combined.

Times are changing

Althoug in rural area and with the older generation TV shows are more popular but I think EK is trying to expand the audience by having the show on the online app as well as the TV

correct ... the world is changing so fast so they are also changing their way ...

May be that's why zee started to air episode before air on television to get more online viewers
