Yeah that's what I thought when ranbir in intoxicated state saw maya as prachi and instantly backed off saying there's something wrong here. All the things said and shown with ranbir and prachi till date show that both are aware of boundaries and wouldn't cross them so that rules out the fear of pre-marital sex and pregnancy between pranbir thankfully.

Prachi has seen enough of ranbir to understand what he is and isn't capable of doing so when needed she does trust him.

She just knows from the start that he can never commit any crime, just as he knows that she can do no wrong. Rhea is just wasting her time. Pranbir's trust in each other is just too strong to break like this.

Yeah I guess that is the only thing, but even then there's a chance neither would think the other would even think to harm their loved one.

Yeah she wasn't able to understand he wasn't angry at police coming to arrest him due to her changing statement, but because he felt hurt thinking she didn't trust him.
