Actually Ranbir trust is strong then Prachi .... But if we see character wise Prachi's character from start is simple girl and always keep distence from boys so ranbir know her charcter will not do such things which shown in video .... So Ranbir trust her ....

But as per Ranbir character , he always in girls ... he always go close to girls ...he always flirt with girls so Prachi will think this is common thing for him ....

Also the way maya said everything to her , any simple girl (girl value ) can believe in Maya ... because the way maya said about society people talking about her character and all .... prachi heart might be re-thinking about everything .... also maya shown Prachi that she is heartbroken by that incidence at attempt to suicide
