Basically in PR, archana-manav were main couple. They had two twin daughters, one of them which is called ovi who was grey, the other twin was given no real importance by makers, but they also had an adoptive daughter called purvi raised by archana when manav-archana split up before the leap, and purvi was the lead of that new generation where she and manav’s business partner’s son called arjun loved each other, but ovi wanted to marry Arjun, so ovi blackmailed purvi to ask Arjun to marry her else ovi wouldn’t let her own parents unite (strange that purvi cared more about them than their own daughter ovi).
So there purvi and ovi were not real sisters and neither were they raised together. Purvi was adopted by archana after she and manav separated.
