Where are the heart to heart connections?

So Abhi lost memory- all memory of Pragya and her family.
But as soon as he saw Pragya, or even Sarla Maa... he felt a connection. He was captivated with stuff he could not interpret and he even was like I feel as if these people are known to me forever.

But with Munni, it's not the case. Abhi's FBs are shown now and then where he remembers Pragya, fair enough but Munni is not really affected that way. Munni thinks Abhi is a nice guy and all that but she is not feeling any "connection". Munni may eventually fall for Abhi, whatsoever, but the CVs aren't showing some old connection for Munni to have with Abhi. Why Abhi, not even with her MS, Sarla Maa, Daadi or anyone.

Either ways, all nonsense though.😆

And that's exactly why I feel she's not Pragya.

TBH, Munni doesn't seem to be connected to anyone, not even chutki and chutka. I don't see her worry about them or see if she can get them out of Aliya's control.

It's not about Sriti as an actor, but I feel writers have not put any effort into Munni's character. If she's supposed to get scared of Aliya then why show her as a daring village girl who was ready to cut Tanu's throat? I can't see how a simple village girl is blackmailed and she agrees to cheat a celebrity.

I don't know which is worse - Abhi revenge marrying Pragya for Aliya's sake or Munni pretending to be Pragya for the kids. I hated revenge marriage and I'm not liking Munni's approach either.

Revenge marriage wasn't something good Abhi did but he believed Pragya is the culprit and wanted to teach her a lesson. But here Munni knows Abhi is innocent and loving and then she is cheating him. So that way it's worse for me.

Munni talking rude with Taaliyah is all just gimmick. She has no power or strength to face them really when she has accepted to cheat MM folks based on their threat. That knife to Tannu's throat excited me thinking finally we have a strong woman leading lady.. but nah!
Moreover Abhi was soon honest with Pragya about what he intended.. but again Munni isn't telling Abhi any truths. It's all behind his back!

As far as Sriti goes, don't think she sits and analyzes the actions of her character..not even writer or CV really does. That's sad..

Agree and disagree.

I agree with Munni not having a strong reason to side with Taaliyah. Yes, she's trying to protect Chutka and Chutki, but I think it'd be much safer if she found the opportunity to tell Abhi what Taaliyah are upto than to trust Taaliyah to save her neice and nephew by going thru with their mission. Like I'm not really sure why she thinks Taaliyah will safely let her or Chutka/Chutki go once she completes "Abhi should hate Pragya" plan. Not convincing for me.

I disagree with Abhi being honest right away because he INTENDED to tell her. The only reason Abhi had revealed the issue of revenge marriage to Pragya was because she caught him with Tanu the night of their marriage. That wasn't planned. Also, Abhi was ONLY transparent about his revenge marriage with her...but he lied to basically everyone on the show and pretended he and Pragya were happily in love.

Also I'm not sure what you were trying to say about Sriti...? Just like Shabir, she's going based on what the script asks from her. Nothing sad about it. Even Leena and Shikha play characters that are repetitive. Should they be sitting down and analyzing their characters? Not everyone has an issue with Munni or Pragya. *shrugs*

Yeah, Abhi misunderstood Pragya and ended up in revenge marriage. She found out the truth about this soon, but both I feel wanted to hide their fake marriage from everyone. Munni knows everything and knows the truth about everyone and is in this impersonation/imposter situation. It's kind of heartless to cheat a whole family knowingly!

It's kind of daring to show a female lead as a criminal, because pretending to be someone else is. IDK what all taaliya want Munni to do to help them in their plans. So when I look at it that way, it's kind of hard to see Pragya/Munni as a somewhat gray character. I think that's the part that's terrible. She's on taaliya's side and is colluding with them to hurt Abhi. If she ends up falling in love with Abhi and goes against taaliya, that'll be great!

Abhi started as a gray character and changed from there. Pragya was never a gray character and now Munni is faking as one. Close to 900 epis is not the time to show the female lead play this part!! Change is too drastic.

I felt mugambo track went back to revenge marriage and show her as a greedy cheat. But in Munni/Pragya track story seems to have come full circle. Pragya was a dutiful wife who did her part even as her husband hated her. Now it's Munni's turn to hate her husband as he plays a husband in love with his wife.

One thing is for Abhigaya lovers, even when the story was repititive and crappy, the only solace was seeing Abhigaya together, even during revenge marriage they cared for each other and then when they realized their love for each other, their chemistry together was just wonderful. So, we even bore Tanu's repeated unwanted presence in between them. But now, it is entirely different. Munni if we take her to be different from Pragya, then she will not have any connectivity with Abhi. From her perspective, she is just an illiterate village girl who has a good heart and goes by what her heart dictates. She is even less than middle class, she works for her living daily and looks after two kids and is living in poverty line. From the looks of where she appeared, even living in a middle class background will be new to her. But now, she is in a place where any girl would wish for, in a beautiful mansion, acting as a rock star's wife, for which even a supermodel (who is delusional thinking so) is fighting for 3 years. This is all very very new for her, she is awestruck by the place and does not understand how they are living so lavishly. But one thing she is sure now is that Abhi is good hearted, the old people in MM are good but she has to act to save the kids. She is frank that she is doing this to save the kids. When she does not have money to support the kids and to cover their hospital expenses, when one is threatening her with their lives, then she has to act and lie only, what can she do. But eventually, her good heart might win over and she might give some indication to Abhi (hoping it happens like this). She has no one other than Abhi who is good according to her to support her. This only Purab can do, i hope Purab gets suspicious and tries to find out the truth, then she might confide in Purab and he might again investigate Pragya's mystery.
This is all assuming Munni and Pragya to be different characters, if Munni is actually Pragya, do not know what reasons the writers will give for her behavior since they are not showing any evidence of Pragya in Munni. I hope that Pragya while being drowned in the water was saved by some village people and is recovering in some remote place.

I was replying to a previous post that mentioned about Sriti. I never said other actors sit and analyze their role either. Even CVs don't do that. Especially female lead's character in these soaps upsets me the most for certain reasons because it changes so much through out the soap that doesn't make sense to me. They are never truthful and straight forward to male leads for most part of the soap. And that pisses me off. For one I was happy Munni seemed like a match to answer Taaliyah back but that was just a short lived opening scene.

Like I said and some others have said here Abhi was doing wrong to Pragya because to him she was bad. But Munni or even Mogambo did wrong to Abhi not because they thought he is bad. So that's a major issue. Abhi lied to everyone something about a bad person here. There is a big diff between doing bad to a bad person and a good person!

Also there are actors and directors that care about a story and their role. If not, great characters would never be written and acted out. I am always amazed often to read in this context that actors are merely following the script! But then CVs or producers are at fault for the drag or issues with the soaps! All actors, directors and producers in these soaps seem logical and sensible people but then they all chose to do these soaps! And the audience watches it too until it gets way too illogical. It could all be better. There have been better stories even in Indian Telly history. It's a collective issue with the crew and audience and it's not an issue of actors just doing their job and the issue for drags and stupidity in these soaps lies somewhere else!

I don't rule out them showing Munni suddenly as Pragya one day but that would make it so weird too! A person can lose memory but doesn't become a completely new person so quick!!

I don't think the soap world considers lying and cheating as gray if it's done for a good reason!😆 Like Abhi wanted to help Aaliyah.. so that was not bad.. and here Munni wanted to help the kids.. so that's not bad again in soap world. Doesn't matter to whom they lie!😆

Munni is not going to hate Abhi.. She has no reason to really. Abhi may almost end up hating Munni here as she is gonna try hard to get there and as she will show no sign of being Pragya.😆
