TRP = 2.74

Week 29 - 15th July 2017 to 21st July 2017.

There is huge drop in impressions in all charts.

KKB out of top 5 in Rural charts (Ratings - 3946)

BARC TRP Overall Ratings - #3 Position

BARC TRP Urban Ratings - #2 Position

Week 29 - Highlights :

Taaliya stealthily enters into MM and Aaliya tries to threaten Munni to not reveal the truth to Abhi.
Munni escapes from MM and finds the children were missing in the hospital.
Aaliya threaten Munni to agree to her plan by keeping the children as hostage.
Abhi calls media to MM, Taaliya brings back Munni there.
Munni asks Abhi to allow Taaliya to stay in MM

Overall - 2071 impressions drop

Urban - 1012 impressions drop

Rural - 1059 impressions drop

Wake up call for CVs...

Looks like Viewers gets frustrated by CVs delaying the truth about Pragya and Taaliya again back to MM...

Looks like even TRP audience at time do react with frustration or boredom like us.. 😛

Overall from 12000+ reported during week 28 to 9000+ in week 29, seems a huge drop. 😳

But still KKB is in top 5 since other TV shows in the list does not seem to be fairing well, so in that case why will KKB writers & creatives take it as a alarm call? they won't, can say this from past experience..🥱

Its not only about delay in revealing Munni's truth, Taaliya back in MM, story back to square one, and Pragya shown dead after 3 years - entire last week episodes were snail paced, disconnected, lame and poor in editing quality where body double scenes can be visible even to average viewers. Added to that some common viewers who watched KKB at 9pm and KDB at 9.30pm got confused with behaviors of Sarla and Abhi as they started looking for continuity in scenes, behaviors, dialogues and timelines between both the shows. 😕

Last couple of weeks I was watching current affairs and at times Beyhadh on Sony at 9pm which is reaching to its planned climax, it being a finite series. KBC is starting new season next month Mon-Fri on Sony at same time slot, so people like me have an alternate choice to use remote for next two months if KKB continues to air senseless, low quality, sloppy scripted episodes along with no hint of who Munni is and without showing Abhigya in same frame.. 😊

Now this is a huge blow to CVs. TRP is really down this time. Last week it 3.2 and now it is 2.74. I guess CVs might take this seriously.

But this is the TRP of last week. The present week (week 30) will I guess will go a bit down than this like 2.5 or 2.6. I guess. Because, though the episode was horrible these 2 days but still yesterday's performance or say the entry of Disha will attract a lot of viewers today.

But again no Abhigya scenes and this Munni/Pragya confusion might stop the viewers to tune to this show at 9 pm. Moreover KBC is coming up soon as said by LA. Again that will affect the TRP. I hope CVs change the senseless storyline into atleast some minor logic. As KKB is the only serial where everything is there except sense in the story.

Again as usual no Promo about the Current Track yet.😕

Nope... Both having their individual TRPs w.r.t their time slots...

EDIT : Yes... Both having almost same TRP - 2.7

TRP will definitely pick up again. Last week show was quite dragging and there was two major Aliya's boring lecture episodes. That turned off everyone. Show need to be fast pace now and moreover Sriti is not present from past two weeks. Maybe that's why they are dragging.

Praveen in a way what she observed is right..

KDB had too many Abhi, Arora ladies and even Munni aka Pragya scenes telecast last week that too without any body double usage 😆 Not only that daily KDB precaps were centered around KKB characters, so looks like some bored KKB viewers instead watched KDB at 9.30pm and some who were already watching 9pm show continued watching even the 9.30pm show. So these factors helped KDB fetch some ratings.

YRKKH which airs at 9.30pm on SP is back in the list and it has some new plots lined up, also indicates some of those viewers who tried to temporarily halt other shows to check what this new show KDB at 9.30m on Zee is all about and what KKB spin-off means? may slowly go back to viewing their long time daily shows on other channels, so actual measure of KDB can be known in next 3-4 weeks.

But LA once the households enrolled for TRPs switch their remotes only then chance for ratings to drop na..

Byouy switching channel you might get to watch what you like but that wont bother the ratings and the channel..

Me or family didnt watch KDB this week but its ratings increased..anyways that show just started so audience interest is understandable..

I am personally looking fwd to Purab's love story..didnt get to watch Vin's romantic side..

😆 When I said people like me its indicative they may not necessarily be TRP audience. But yes I'm glad to have found an alternate choice for next couple of months incase KKB content, execution and quality is not back on a proper track. 😊

Usually Indian Idol and KBC earlier seasons when telecast during week days have fared well for Sony in urban segments. But both KBC and Big B are coming back after a long gap on Sony and BARC methods weren't used for earlier seasons. Need to see whether it grabs attention of fiction show viewers or non-fiction show viewers mostly this time.
