After Ishqbaaz Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya Is Going To Launch The Next Spin

Indian television got its first spin off show
a few months ago. Star Plus and 4 Lions'
successful venture Ishqbaaz came up with
the very first spin off series Dil Boley
Oberoi.
While reports are on about Dil Boley
Oberoi soon coming up with a parallel
track along with Ishqbaaz, we get to hear
Zee TV also planning to launch another
spin off series very soon!
As per a report by ABP news, Zee TV and
Balaji Telefilms' chart topper show
Kumkum Bhagya is soon going to have its
very own spin off series.
The show through its spin off will take the
viewers to the past of Pragya's family
keeping the story of Pragya's father in
focus.
Now that's pretty interesting isn't it? In
western format, a spin off generally takes
one to another era of an ongoing story.
For example, The Vampire Diaries'
launched its spin off The Originals', which
took the viewers to a different era
featuring some of the characters from the
parent series.
Now if the project really takes off, it will be
interesting to see how the past affected
the present of Pragya. A backstory for any
present situation always is refreshing to
watch if executed properly.

Dont know how characters will pan out..a purab and love interest show or something would have more useful..dbo is based on omkara..who has the relevant fanbase and was a important character in the parent show..while kumkum bhagya..i am still not sure whether fans want to know about how pragya present actions/personality forms due to her past (because to be fair not many are fans of pragya actions over the past 1 year)..spinoffs which i think could be much more interesting.
1. A music industry spinoff with some young rockstar upstsging abhi (because i even forget that abhi is a "singer" ..they say rockstar rockstar..but 99.9999 he spent in doing on off love with pragya..on off discussion with hone waali biwi tanu and so on..
2.purab love stroy..
3.sarla ma recruiting some cstering manager for banquet hall and thar girl is half sister of pragya..so initially a character with grey shade..and then her love interest..(like some businessman or hotel chain magnate etc.)..and past of oragya father and so on..

So in short..while pragya and abhi can do cameos or 2-3 minutes performances..a "spinoff" story shoukd focus on other character..or some new thing..

Lol is this a joke? When the original show is crap n writers are not able to justify the lead characters why do we need a spin off. If the spin off was for Rabul's story it would have have made sense but who really wants to know Pragya's dad's story ,it can easily make for a good track in kkb. Frankly balaji writers are not so creative to create a good story that too for a spin off. I hope Eak drops this idea n concentrates on Kkb.

Many times Rodadi mentioned in the show that she lost her husband, son and younger grand daughter now where can writers import Pragya's dad from?

She didnt try to show Daadi's original love story with her suniyee.. she saved audience that way..

because popular opinion always points to ppl being interested in Aroras and want to see more of them.. unlike the Mehra zoo.. so it may be her way of cashing on that interest in Aroras...

I know yaar but you can't make a spin off by just sticking to Pragya's past, maximum they can drag for few months but after that what will they show.

So it's better to use that track in kkb n create a, spin off for Purab n other characters.

May be EK wants to show maa fighting for her kumkum n inspiring Pragya 😆 .

A prequel as a spin off makes sense. Maybe that's why they've been showing Pragya as losing against taaliya all the time. There must be a reason why Pragya never wins.

Also writers are trapped in their own cycle now. This taaliya versus team worked so far, but they can't keep on going like this. And if abhigya unite, show won't get the same trp's. Pragya's past might bring the show back to Pragya as the female lead. Right now she hardly is!!

Isnt this spin off going to be separate show and a prequel ?? So there might be someone else younger portraying Pragya dad.. basically his story and what happened before epi 1 of current show..

When I told mom about new spin off, she said they could have taken Leena off here and shown her story before she met Abhi..

So that audience can be saved from Tanu here n Leena's contract can also be respected..she can be the lead as well there..
