.
I have learnt many things from KKB, I will tell you two of them,

(1) "money can't buy you happiness" A successful, good looking & Rich Rockstar who is not even a bit happy in his life!! šŸ˜’
(
2) " never fall in love" in Kumkum Bhagua they show us when you are in love you can never be happy, you get kidnapped, almost killed, Have many enemies, you are always the victim, you never get the one you love, Sacrifices tears and broken heart, so simply you can never be happy...

So this is some of what i have learnt... šŸ˜†
Tell me your thoughts to.. ā¤ļø

I don't think I watch kkb to learn something. I would prefer to watch biopics if I want to learn something. I watch it only for my entertainment. It's a fictional show with completely out of the world characters. I cannot be as naive and sacrificing as Pragya and I cannot be easily manipulated like Abhi. So there's nothing for me to learn from kkb. Don't take Abhi and Pragya's love story as an example because fictional love stories are meant to be complicated. There are millions of people outside who are in love and are happy and sort out. :)
Yes sadly the things which are common in kkb world and real world is that tragedies and heartbreaks are common. Good winning over bad is not always true.

Daily TV shows shouldn't be used as a basis to learn some thing in life, this is my opinion. Crew has a defined deadline to fill, shoot, cut and give 5-6 episodes to channel to air every week. They need to handle stiff competition, take care of ad revenues and also need to include random twists and turns periodically so that they don't lose viewers interest. Many times lots of juniors are given to handle script and creative sides of TV shows, and most of them may not understand social responsibility or relevance angle to their content. In such limited boundaries that too with fictional social dramas, can't aspire to learn something from TV shows.

But on a funny banter, in a nutshell KKB preaches not just love, but marriage and most relationships are a big sham, which isn't so in real life.

Yes some good movies with socially relevant subjects, focussed on a subtle message with well researched finite & gripping story telling with a proper ending do connect somewhere deeply to certain sections of audience, and we may feel to have learnt some things from them. Eg. Taare Zameen par, 3 Idiots, Pink, Piku, Drishyam etc. šŸ‘

Expecting same things which doesn't hold relevance with TV dailies or weeklies, will be too much.

Real world is 1000 times better than kkb.
šŸ˜† .

We all have something to learn from everyone in our life n the shows we watch.

Kkb teaches that never lie so much that one day even if you are saying truth it will look like a lie n never trust anyone so much that they will be the reason for your destruction .

Good topic! Thank you for posting.😊 Any show you watch on a daily basis for years definitely will have an impact on you consciously or unconsciously. Media studies have proved that. I believe viewers have subconsciously learned a few things or changed their behavior from what they watch.

KKB shows how one family member like Aliya can destroy the whole family. I have seen people like that who are so jealous and insecure and end up ruining others' lives. I see how if husband and wife have no communication and are never united then that's a disastrous marriage. I'm also learning how viewers like this kinda of drama so much that they put this show on the top. Maybe viewers like to see sad stories more than happy stories!!!šŸ˜† That's sad.

I would definitely not take any lessons from KB. The show is way too unrealistic and over the top.
