Thanks girls for all of your thoughts.

Still can't agree that actors don't have a responsibility beyond entertainment, gaining viewership or honoring a contract. All of us have a moral compass which most of us would never cross, no matter what is thrown at you.

I can only talk about myself, if someone higher up at my work place tells me that I am bound by contract to work for them, so twist a truth to impact the financial bottom line of the institution, and it is up to the clients to figure out if I am not telling them the whole truth. If they didn't, tough luck, their loss, our gain😡😡😡. Everyone ( my work place, clients ) might sleep well, but what happens to my conscience? 🤢

@ Naina, yes, jeeju needs to steer clear of me for the weekend, otherwise he knows what can happen. I should really forget about KKB, I am obviously failing. May be I should start studying right now for my boards due in 4 years😡😡😡. That is it🤔.

The viewers should have the social responsibility talking about the actors as someone mentioned above if one actor is refusing there are other actors who is ready to do it.

Haha true in a way Anu! The show does say it's fiction at the disclaimer and we are affected so much we can stop watching any day. It makes the show less popular too that way.

Mili, I don't know what profession you are in but every company and institution can be criticized for taking advantage of something or wronging someone.. I wouldn't write off entertainment profession that way. I believe people like Shabir or Ekta connect to a lot of people and bridge communities too. That's something really good comes out of them while there might be some bad too. It's true for any profession.

Tia I totally agree with what you said, every profession has it's own advantages & disadvantages, everyone cannot be satisfied.
