If both the situations are comparable, compare it with sequence of scenes...

Please remember that Pragya is the one who searches Abhi after the accident and take him to hospital and fighted with doctors to treat him and she did her best to bring him alive... In one moment Pragya is the one who bring Abhi alive (Unrealistic but fact)...

After that both Daadi and Pragya came to know about Abhi's medical conditions, Daadi without thinking about Pragya's condition ask her to stay away from her grandson, as she can't live without her grandson (even now I remembered her dialogues)... People criticized Daadi at that time because she never realized that if her grandson is alive because of Pragya... She wants her grandson with her, That's all... She does not care Pragya...

Now please compare both the situations with sequence of previous scenes, you will get your answer... Daadi asks Pragya to stay away for her grandson's betterment... Maa asks Pragya to stay away for both Abhi and Pragya's safety... There is much difference...

Since you askeddd Anu and because this is now a repetitive discussion in multiple threads, I'll post my view. Again, you dont have to agree with it. I'm answering because you wanted a reason, which everyone has been providing! 😳 So I dont get this back and forth.

Anyways, this is what I think:

I never saw Daadi doing anything for the well-being of Pragya or Abhi. She chose to stay in Abhi's good books while never telling him she encouraged Pragya to continue the mission. And whenever Pragya wanted to quit and just tell him the truth, she encouraged her to continue. And then whenever Pragya was insulted at the infamous MM parties, Daadi stayed back, completely silent.

She didn't want Pragya to give up on Abhi. And yet, when he lost his memory, the grandson that she raised all her life and yet didn't believe would believe HER, she decided to kick Pragya off the boat and basically say "Bye Felicia." And with memory loss (if we're going to be logical), there is no definite time for it to be back. So Daadi basically kicked her out potentially for forever. To keep her grandson safe. OOH BUT WAIT. Lets continue letting Taaliyah hang around memory-deprived Abhi, because...*crickets chirping* no I dont know why. Why is it okay for Taaliyah to hang around Abhi? Her whole claim of keeping Abhi safe falls flat right here. Fine, I'll even agree she's not responsible for Pragya if she goes back to Sarla's house (eye roll). She's responsible for Abhi, nahi?

If Sarla is trying to protect her daughter from Taaliyah by staying away from Abhi, she's not letting Taaliyah hang around Pragya either!! She's literally taking her daughter away from all this, hoping that it will be for the betterment of her daughter and even him. She's responsible for Pragya, not Abhi, who has a Daadi and Daasi that should be able to take care of him and tell Taaliyah to back out of his life.

Can't one have their way of comparison.

I fought a lot because I felt Dadi is wrong.

But people have their own compassion, we can't tell them compare it like...

Just like How I maa is no less than Dadi and there is no difference in being wrong.

When I SAID we cant really say what's wrong, I meant when we think something is wrong that doesnt mean its wrong. I should have been more clear.

You can say maa is wrong - yes of course you can.

You can say there's no difference between maa and daadi's actions - yes of course you can. And I have posted the reasons why there is a difference for your examination. Those reasons exist even if they don't change your opinion.

When we think something is wrong, that doesn't mean it is wrong - of course. Different people have different definitions of wrong.

I don't think we disagree on anything at this point.

I am just telling why I dont agree with that and they are saying why they disagree with me That's the debate.

It's just the minor difference between the same thing.

She is laying out the facts of the show so people can consider the sequence and come to their own conclusion. This should not interfere with having your own way for comparison and having your own opinion and having your own compassion. No one is saying you have to compare it the way Praveen put it. She's just offering the facts of the show.

I do disagree with the comparison. A huge difference here. Daadi literally dragged Pragya out without any consideration for Pragya. When Daadi said few times how she would leave Abhi and stay with Pragya, then why didn't she?! She also said she can not live without her. If she meant any of it when there was a najayaz kid coming into the world, a kid that was out of wedlock, then why didn't she went with Pragya?! This was an opportunity for her to support her grand daughter in law who was wronged and leave with her, then why didn't she?! Because it was all talk and no action...
