So the other day I wanted to come here and ramble how I have never felt that there has ever been a love interest for Pragya in the show who really deserves her. I just adore her so much and want someone who not only adores her but also goes out of the way to make her life easier, the way she goes out of her way to make the lives of her loved ones easier. Nobody deserves our girl ok. But Pragya doesn't want the kind of person I'm imagining for her. She would probably be bored and restless with this person who could take care of her, because she's the kind of person who needs to be taking care of someone. She doesn't want to be pampered. But she - like anyone - does want to be cherished. It's confusing me how to balance that. Fate brought her to Abhi and she loves him like nothing else. As someone who loves her, I wish I could be more on board about rooting for what she wants instead of what she deserves, but I have this bug in my mind about the whole thing...so yeah here is my ramble 😕

Minz I felt that way (and still do to some extent) but Abhi kinda won me over during that grand finale of the last track where he wanted to start all over. That monologue of him wanting to get back at Taakhil and Aalu and anyone that made Pragya suffer did wonders for my thoughts on Abhi. As well as when he said that he just wanted to see her smile forever and that he promised to keep her smiling. Or when he asked if he could be her husband for life. She never deserved to go through everything that she did, and while a lot have complaints against Mogambo, I have my own reasons of why I dont think she made illogical choices during that long track. Especially when you start out with a revenge marriage from day one-how are you ever supposed to fully trust a hubby who only ever made you feel anything but nice?

I wrote these lines at the start of the ML track - the episode where Pragz joins Love Life Music Company. Seeing the discussion made me want to share this here.

There kind of was a period of time that Abhi was fighting for their marriage...but he was also not making a decision about Tanu's baby at the same time so in sum it didn't really look like he was fighting for Pragya.

I wish I could remember what it was...this come up recently and then there was an example of something unrelated, Abhi trying to hold on to Pragya...so although he's never been on a mission like the ones Pragya has had, it's not true that he's never fought for the marriage. It has just never looked like he was fighting for her.

I also secretly hope we someday somewhere get a nice hunky side hero coming to give Abhi some competition and that the whole track is treated with the delicacy and sensitivity that it deserves, unlike the Champu track. 👎🏼
