If abhi loses his memory it just gives tanu another chance to stick around and pragya gets a new mission of re-proving herself to him to get his love again. It gives abhi more scope to be insensitive and oblivious - no reason to expect him to be sweet and nice to someone he doesn't even remember knowing. I see no plus sides 🤢

Memory loss helps if it is fake!

Real memory loss won't help anything.

Abhi has a good reason to fake memory loss. He didn't believe Tannu and blast on Pragya when she said Pragya killed the baby.

Nor he is trusting Pragya fully because of her divorce and her other claims and lies in the Mogambo track.

And he has had doubts on Nikhil in the recent past.

So he can fake a memory loss and find the truth. It will have Tannu stick around for a bit.. until he exposes her for her bads and exposes Pragya too for his own good.😆

Btw. there will be one plus side in real memory loss too. Abhi will be shown to fall for Pragya all over again. Memory losses in soaps do not mean complete memory loss. There will be some connections from the past lol. But rest all will be awful.

But I don't see Abhi or Pragya ready for a real memory loss though.

Ok. Fake memory loss could be good. I like what you pointed out about that.

I don't believe real memory loss would be good even for what you pointed out. They'll never deal with the impact of everything that went wrong before, even if/when he ultimately remembers. They'll just say it doesn't matter. And then there would probably be a leap. Yuuuck.

Memory loss was nicely done in one of my previous soaps. The guy lost memory and remembered only his previous vamp GF, but despite that he was drawn to his wife... he ultimately told the wife that he loves her and only later he gained memory back. And if I remember correctly the vamp gave up on the hero after that. She sort of realized he has really moved on. Anyways that vamp was not as bad like Tannu and she never hurt the hero.. all her issues were with the wife who was also her step sister.

I am not looking forward to a real memory loss either because it also means Aaliyah will be back in Abhi's life.

But then, they have to get Aalu back in MM too.. and it's one way.

They always choose the worst ways, so I don't know what awaits us.
