DRABBLE: DON'T MISS THE CHANCE

Abhigya's 5 year old kids upto something

Son sees his sister with her coloring books

Son: Hey, what are you doing here?

Daughter: See it. It's nice na.

Son: We don't have time. Come soon.

Daughter: Where?

Son: We have to get the dolls.

Daughter: *dull face* You know it already that we can't get them. Mom and dad would never let us play with them.

Son: We can get them without them noticing.

Daughter: *gets little excited* But how is it possible? They are always aware of their dolls. Don't you remember the last time we got caught thinking mom and dad were not at room?

Son: This time they won't. Now, don't waste time. What if they stop?

Daughter: Stop what?

Son: No time for explanation.. *grabs sister and runs to Abhigya room*

They see Abhigya stuck in an eyelock and run to the dolls but get caught while trying to step out of the room.

Son: I told you to come fast na. See they stopped now.

DRABBLE: DAUGHTER'S DAD

Abhigya with a teenage daughter.

Daughter comes home upset and throws the bag on the bed. Pragya sees it.

Pragya: Beta, What happened?

Daughter: Nothing.

Pragya sits besides her daughter.

Pragya: Tell me na. What's bothering you?

Daughter leans over Pragya's shoulder.

Daughter: It's Dad. Why is he behaving like that?

Pragya: Like what.

Daughter: Isn't he supposed to be cool?

Pragya caresses daughter's hair.

Pragya: What did he do at school?

Daughter: *sits up* How did you know it was about school?

Pragya: Now, stop telling me riddles and tell me what happened.

Daughter: He scolded my friend. He almost held his collars.

Pragya: What? *surprised* But Why?

Daughter: Because he was annoying me. But he was my friend and was just playing.

Pragya: *thinks she needs to talk to the over protective father*

Pragya: OK now, don't think about it. I will take care of it.

Waits for Abhi to come home. Abhi comes home.

Abhi: Hello sweetheart *hugs her from back*

Pragya: *doesn't respond*

Abhi: Why are you angry now?

Pragya: You went to her school?

Abhi: Yes, I had some free time in the noon so I went to see her.

Pragya: *sighs* She is not in a boarding school You could anyway see her at home after she comes to school. Why are you always trying to shadow her?

Abhi: It's not like that. I just make sure she is fine.

Pragya: *dissapointed* sits on the couch.

Abhi: Did she complain to you?

Pragya: She didn't complain but why did you scold her friend? They are kids and they play. Why do you want to intrude?

Abhi is silent.

Pragya: Tell me what happened that you got angry enough to scold him?

Abhi: Nothing.

Pragya: What nothing? You almost hit him for nothing. Thankfully, he was her friend. What if the boy's parents complain?

Abhi: I told you na. Nothing.

Pragya is standing with her arms crossed.

Abhi: I am sleepy. *lies on the bed*

Abhi: OK Fine. He was calling her names and I didn't like that.

Pragya: Names? What did he call her?

Abhi pretends to sleep as he was scared to tell Pragya that their daughter's friend called her Chashmish in spite of her telling not to and he got angry for that.

DRABBLE: MONSOON

Abhigya going on a long drive and the weather is humid. They are travelling along an isolated road. They see a roadside tea stall and stop.

The tea is so hot that Pragya tries to hold the glass by covering it with the end of her plain red Saree.

Abhi: Tea is very hot?

Pragya: Hmm *trying to sip tea*

Abhi: Hotter than me?

Pragya looks at him and decides to play with him.

Pragya: Yes

Abhi was expecting her to blush not this answer. He gives her a side hug

Abhi: Even now?

Pragya: Yes. Now give him the money. I will wait in the car.

Pragya walks towards the car and sits inside while Abhi couldn't accept defeat. Abhi pays the shopkeeper and goes to the car. He starts driving and pretends to be angry. It starts raining.

Pragya sees that he is angry. She leans over his shoulders.

Abhi: I am driving. Don't distract.. I mean don't disturb me.

Pragya sits up and pretends to be angry.

Car suddenly stops and they see that they have took some wrong route during their fight and the road in which they are at is waterlogged.

Abhi: Car won't start. Let's get out and see whether there's any help available.

Abhigya walk in the waterlogged for about 1 km but couldn't see a human being. They decide to stand under a tree until rain stops as it started raining heavily and they got drenched.

Abhi sees Pragya shivering and takes off his shirt and covers her. He hugs her to make her better.

Pragya: Not more than you.

Abhi: What?

Pragya *shivering* Tea was not hotter than you.

And then they happily lived ever after!

DRABBLE SERIES: Pragya's friends #1

Pragya is getting ready while Abhi is sipping his coffee.

Pragya: Are you sure you don't want to come to the party?

Abhi: No, you are meeting your friends after a very long time. Why should I be there? Enjoy with friends.

Pragya: I didn't guess that you would be so understanding. Actually Piku asked me to come alone as we have lot of things to talk about in private. *giggles*

Pragya: Uff this Piku... 10 missed calls in 5 minutes. He hasn't changed much.

Abhi: Did you just say 'he'?

Pragya: Piku has sent a message that he is waiting for me outside. I have to go now Suniye.

*grabs her hand*

Abhi: Piku is not a girl as in 'Piku' movie?

Pragya: *stares and sits on the couch angrily*

DRABBLE SERIES: Pragya's friends #2

A: Hey Fuggy, why are you angry?

P: *doesn't reply*

A: I just asked to know about your friend. Get up and go to the party.

P: *doesn't get convinced wholeheartedly but stands up to go*

Pragya informs Daadi, gets down the stairs and notices Abhi in the hall. Looks back at their room above and wonders how he got ready and came before her.

A: Come, let's go.

P: You are coming to the party?

A: Yes I will get bored without you. So I decided to come with you

P: *has a slight smile*

*they board the car*

P: Piku, this is my husband and suniye, this is..

A: haan Chiku..*annoyed*

P: No Piku *abhi is annoyed as they laugh as if it was some big joke*

*Piku and Abhi shake hands. Abhi stops Pragya from shaking hands with him and gives his hands again*

*he then feels that he should have let them shake hands as they hug*

P: *looks at him confused*

A: *gets relieved after seeing few girls in the party*

DRABBLE SERIES: Pragya's friends #4

Piku takes Pragya to talk to some friends in the party while Abhi chooses to stay back.

A: *thinks* thank god Sarla aunty didn't look for a groom among her friends.

Piku: Hi Mr.Abhi

A: Hi

Piku: You are lucky to have married Pragya.

*they both get a drink from the waiter*

A: Yes I am. She is also lucky to have so many friends.

Piku: Pragya was one of the famous girls in our school. But it's sad that we could be together only for 2 years.

A: 2 years?

Piku: Yes she went to new school after 7th grade.

A: You guys were friends in 7th grade.

Piku: Yes she didn't tell you?

A: How did you people decide to meet after so many years?

Piku: Actually it was Praggu's idea. She messaged everyone on facebook.

*Abhi coughs, coughs*

A: Fuggy is on facebook?

Piku: It's not fuggy. It's Pragya.

A: Did I ask you about Praggu? Then don't ask me about fuggy

*starts walking towards Pragya*

*pragya is busy talking and asks Abhi to wait for few minutes*

Abhi creates a facebook account and searches for Fuggy's profiles but isn't able to find.

A: Why couldn't you get Fuggy's profile?

*searches for Mugambo*

A: Abhi! What are you doing? You should search for Pragya Mehra *hits his forehead*

A: *finally finds it* Arrey fuggy has kept our photo as cover photo. *gets excited*

A: *switches to About page scrolls down to relationship status.*

Battery low and phone switched off.

Abhi takes Pragya aside.

P: *looks curious*

A:Give me your phone

P: Here *gives it*Is there any problem?

A: Nothing *does something on phone and gives it back*

P: *looks confused* what happened?

A: accept

P: *takes the phone from him and thinks he is behaving weird*

A: Why are you looking at me? Accept.

P: Accept what?

A: My request.

P: *thinks he has a REQUEST* Something is wrong. Are you OK? *checks his forehead for temperature*

A: Arrey Fuggy, what are you doing? Just accept my friend request.

P: You are going to be in facebook now? Suniye, we are in a party.

A: I am bored. Now just accept and give me the phone.

P: You told me you will get bored at home?

A: Fuggy, it's a party with your friends. What am I supposed to do?

P: *upset*

A: Come on Fuggy. Why do you have a long face now? I was talking to your favourite Piku. He only told me you are on facebook.

*he pulls her cheeks, she smiles and goes*

A: *signs in to his account, checks Pragya's profile and gets shocked* Fuggy Fuggy

*takes pragya aside*

P: *annoyed* what now?

A: What have put in your relationship status?

P: Oh.. you saw that.. I forgot to update it.

A: what do you mean you forgot to update? If that's the case, it should have been single.

P: Why are you overreacting?

A: Do you really know what's an open relationship?

P: Yes

A: You know it and you put it as your relationship status.. *gets more tensed*

P: I put it when you had a GF and you didn't love me.

A: *face palms*
