Nive's Abhigya drabbles

I wanted to collect all my drabbles (that has been posted in the Abhigya AT) in a single place so I am creating this thread.

P.S. This doesn't look like a good introduction post. Will change it soon.

DRABBLE - KIDS AND DOLLS

Abhigya's 5 year old son and daughter running to Daadi.

Daadi: Why are you crying?

Kids: We want to play

Daadi: ??

Kids: We want to play with dolls.

Daadi: Your papa has bought you so many dolls na. Go and Play

Kids: We don't want them. We want those old dolls.

Daadi: Old dolls?

Kids: But they are not giving us.

Daadi calls Bunty and Bubbly

Daadi: *to Bunty and Bubbly* you have grown up now. Why don't give the dolls they ask?

Kids: Daadi, they don't have the doll.

Daadi: Then who told you that won't give your their doll. Is it Bittu?

Kids: *sigh* Daaadiii. Mumma and Papa have the dolls.

Abhi hears the convo and rushes to their room

Abhi: Pragya, hide them.

Pragya: Hide what?

Abhi: The dolls. They are coming for our dolls. Where is my fuggy?

Pragya: Where is my rockstar?

DRABBLE: AM I BRAVE, PAPA?

Pragya - No

Son - Please Mom... Please

Pragya - NO NO NO

Abhi comes to the room

Abhi - What is happening here?

Pragya tries to speak but their son cuts in

Son - Papa, I am brave na?

Abhi - Yes Champ. What's the doubt in that?

Abhi gives his son a piggyback ride. Pragya tries to warn him but Abhi ignores her

Son - I am not of afraid of anything na?

Abhi - Yes, just like me.

Pragya keeps her hand on her forehead.

Son - Yay!!! So you are also not afraid of anything.

Abhi - *confused* Yes, why are you asking it now?

Son - Mom, Dad said OK. I will go and get the DVD.

Abhi - Wait, What OK? I didn't tell anything.

Pragya - Your son wants to see a horror movie with you.

Abhi - What??

DRABBLE: FIRST WORD

Abhi is sitting on the couch upset

Pragya enters the room happily

Pragya: Suniye! Did you just hear it?

Abhi: *looks at her*

Pragya: Our son he talked for the first time.

Abhi: Hmm

Pragya: Isn't this exciting for you?

Abhi: Hmm

Pragya: Why are you dull now?

Abhi: *nods in disagreement*

Pragya: I know why you are upset.

Abhi: *surprised*

Pragya: You are upset because he didn't call you. He called only me. *gets disappointed*

Abhi: That's my problem

Pragya: *gets even more disappointed and has an angry face*

Abhi: Why didn't he call you mumma? Why didn't he call you by name?

Pragya: *suspicious*

Abhi: He called you Fuggy. How can he?

Pragya: ??

DRABBLE: FAULT

Pragya is pregnant

Abhi wakes up in the middle of the night suddenly and finds Pragya missing. Searches everywhere in MM.

Abhi: Pragya!! PRAGYA!!

Everyone wakes up hearing his sound

Daadi: What happened Abhi?

Abhi: Daadi, Pragya is missing.

Daadi: What?

Abhi: I searched in our room, balcony, corridor, terrace, etc. She is not anywhere.

Daadi: Where could she go at this time?

Robin: Sir, Mam is in kitchen.

Abhi: Kitchen??

Abhi goes to Kitchen and sees Pragya standing near fridge. Abhi touches Pragya's shoulder.
Pragya sees Abhi and hides something behind.

Abhi: What's that?

Pragya: Nothing.

Abhi: Come-on show it to me now.

Abhi grabs her hand and she shows a bowl of ice-cream.

Abhi: You are eating ice-cream. Pragya, how can you be so irresponsible? Don't you know that you need to follow the diet chart. Doctor told you to strictly follow it.

Pragya keeps an innocent face.

Pragya: Sorry

Abhi: *pretends to be angry*

Pragya: Why are you angry? It's not my fault.

Abhi: Not your fault? Then whose fault is it?

Pragya: Our kid.

Abhi: ??

Pragya: I am following the diet plan but our kid likes ice-cream. I ate this only for our kid.

DRABBLE: GOING TO A WEDDING

Abhi is in changing room and Pragya outside.

Pragya: Are you sure with your decision?

Abhi: You are asking this question for the 10th time.

Pragya: and you aren't giving a definite answer for the 10th time.

Abhi: Come-on. You think I can't do this?

Pragya: You don't have experience.

Abhi: Experience? Stop joking Pragya. Don't underestimate the power of the Rockstar.

Pragya: Its been half an hour

Abhi: The video is still buffering.

Pragya: Why don't you wear the sherwani?

Abhi: We are going to a South Indian Wedding.

Pragya: So What?

Abhi: When you are in Rome, be a Roman.

Waits for 10 minutes

Pragya: *loses patience* Drape it like a Saree na

Abhi: What do you mean by 'drape it like a saree'? I don't wear Sarees

*Pragya loses patience, asks Abhi to open the door and helps him wear dhoti*

DRABBLE: ESCAPE

Abhi: We should leave this place soon

Pragya: What happened?

Abhi: Pack your bags. We should not be here.

Pragya: Tell me na. What happened?

Abhi: Something disastrous is going to happen. It won't be good for both of us.

Pragya: The villains? They are planning something?

Abhi: No. Its not them but our family members.

Pragya: What did they do?

Abhi: They are arranging a party.

Pragya: What?

Abhi: PARTY!!

*Abhigya pack their bags and run away from MM*

DRABBLE: SURPRISE

Pragya is in college while Abhi is waiting in his car outside the campus. He calls her.

Pragya: Hello

Abhi: Hello. Come Soon

Pragya: Classes ended just now. How can I come home immediately?

Abhi: Oh Hello Madam. I am waiting outside your college. Come to car.

Pragya: *hesitates* Sorry.. I cant come now. You have to wait for another 15 minutes.

Abhi: Why?

Pragya: I called a student to come and meet me. So..

Abhi: So... I have to wait.

Pragya: Please...

Abhi: I came with a surprise but you are making me wait.

Pragya: Surprise?

Abhi: OK I will go home now.

Pragya: *upset* OK

Abhi: Fuggy is upset? OK I will wait but you should come within 15 minutes.

He is sure that she will like the idea of going to Shimla with him alone. So he wants to surprise her with the flight tickets. Abhi calls Pragya after 15 minutes

Pragya: Sorry, please another 5 minutes.

Abhi: *sigh*

Abhi opens the envelope. He gets shocked to see that there was something else. He realizes that somehow the tickets got misplaced.

Pragya comes to the car

Pragya: Hi!!!

Pragya kisses Abhi on his cheeks

Abhi: Hi *hesitates*

Pragya: So what is the surprise?

Abhi: Surprise...

Pragya sees the envelope on hand. Abhi is tensed. How can he show the envelope to Pragya? If she sees what's in the envelope, she would definitely get angry.

Pragya: Give me. What's in that?

Abhi: *thinking how could I tell her that this is a scuba diving pass*

DRABBLE: FIGHT

Abhi: Pragya, this is not fair. You are making an issue out of nothing.

Pragya is busy packing her bags.

Abhi: I am talking to you only. Why are you packing your bags now? I just met her casually.

Pragya: *stares*

Abhi: Come-on. You can't leave now. It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow. What will I tell the guests?

Pragya: So, that's your worry. What to tell the guests? Its not about me leaving.

Abhi: Why are taking it the wrong way whatever way I talk?

Pragya: It's because you talk like that.

Abhi grabs her arms

Abhi: Listen to me. You know I love only you. Why are overreacting just by seeing me just hug her? I am a celebrity. I hug lots of peopleI meet. It's not a big deal.

Pragya: Like going to their room in a hotel and hugging them when you are supposed to be at a meeting with Purab.

Abhi: You can't accuse me like that? Didn't you learn from your mistakes? You should always believe your husband.

Pragya: *looks at him confused*

Abhi: Why are you looking at me like that? Whole world knows that I don't have any feelings for Meethu. She just tricked me to come to meet her.

Pragya: I am even more angry on you now. I am definitely going.

Abhi: *wonders what he said that she reacts like this*

Abhi: Stop this na. I don't understand why are you reacting like this.

Pragya: That's the problem. You couldn't even know the reason for me being angry with you. I was angry with you because you lied to me on phone that you didn't meet anyone else than Purab. But you are thinking that I am accusing you of something else. I am definitely leaving.

Abhi: What? You thought just that? *facepalms*

Abhi pulls Pragya towards her

Abhi: I just thought you might feel insecure if I told you about Meethu.

Pragya: *touches his nose* So when did you become Fuggy?

DRABBLE: FEAR

Son: Mom please mom.. Why are you not agreeing?

Pragya: No. I won't allow this however you plead me.

Son sees Abhi not supporting him

Son: Papa, you too?

Abhi: Mom is right. We can arrange it somewhere else... *stops as their son gets up from Abhi's lap*

He goes and sits at the balcony with his chin resting on both his fists.

Pragya: What gift do you want? That robot doll, you wanted na, shall we buy it?

Son: *doesn't respond and is like a statue*

Abhi: What about a trip to US or Paris or some other country?

Pragya: Shall we go to Sarla Daadi's house?

Abhi: Your favourite animation movie, shall we buy a DVD?

Pragya: Shall we read some story books? You like to listen to stories na?

Son turns to the other side.

Daadi comes in.

Daadi: What is happening here?

Pragya: See your grandson. He is asking for dangerous things.

Abhi: Daadi, try to explain him na. He would listen to you.

Daadi: What does he want?

Abhigya: *at once* he wants to celebrate his birthday in MM
