Actually neither villains die, nor leads die in these soaps. They all survive everything somehow. Characters die only when actors wanna leave the soap. That too is left in an open ended manner so that a new actor can be brought back.

They create the hype of Abhi or Pragya's death (there were so many articles about Abhi's death during kidnap track, and Pragya's during her accidents)...but since that won't be interesting to do with villains, they just escape with minor issues.

Actually I will be curious now to see how Tannu the Sher Khan will be trapped.
