There are different angles to this topic - moral, legal, and justice. It's a dilemma for Pragya - Tanu and the unborn baby are a package deal. Tanu is just not giving in to any of Pragya's tactics and is doing fine. If she stresses out the mother, it'll stress out the baby. And without applying pressure on Tanu, she can't get the truth out.

Of course unborn child's life is important. No disagreements there. If there had been medical complications in the pregnancy and fetus is in danger, then all this should stop.

Morally, if it's wrong to put unborn fetus in stress and cause harm, then it's also wrong of Tanu to blame Abhi for fathering a child when he didn't. Tanu has put such a huge burden on Abhi and she's ruining his life, career, and family. Abhi is struggling to stay sane in all the madness in his life. If he finds out the truth about the baby, I doubt he'll handle Tanu as well as Pragya has handled her so far.

Not expecting good mothering from Tanu, but expecting Pragya to be a better person - I'm not sure I agree with that. Because I don't expect Pragya to be such a superior person. She's just a human being. She has lost a lot.If she's changed, to me it's understandable. In real life, if someone lost so much, I wonder if he/she won't get affected by these experiencesI find her compassionate considering Tanu ruined Pragya's life. Tanu betrayed Pragya's innocent trust. She split up a married couple who loved each other.. She thinks about the baby and its safety even after Tanu tried to kill her and her mother. I wish Pragya valued her life and her priorities more!! Pragya's priorities according to me should be her life, her family, Abhi, (and Mehra family if at all). Tanu and her family should not be of any concern to Pragya.

I don't know if things will change in the story and if something will happen to the baby. I hope not.

Just sharing how complicated this situation is!

On a lighter note, this topic posted by @tia has now hit a century, I think 😊!!

yes prani ... I quite agree with you...and in yesterday's episode...we had Nikhil with his nasty ways...trying to harm sarla ma...is this ok?,,,,or because he is bad it is ok...pragya said in yesterday's episode about not harming the baby...so she is still thinking about the baby in all of this...no one is looking at what as you rightly said pragya and purab has lost...a lot...they were not responsible for bulbul's death or sarla ma's condition...they both chose to be a part of the plan...

Again Ann, there is no comparison between Nikhil and Pragya. Nikhil is pure evil. Pragya is not supposed to be so.
Actually today's episode made me all the more sad. Because not only Pragya was planning to scare Tannu more and more without thinking about the baby but did not really care enough about Maa either. The killer comes right into MM, and what measure has Pragya taken to stop him? Why does she not have someone with Maa all the time when her life is threatened? Can she not the guards tell her if Mr. Nikhil tries to get in he will need her permission? And even after Maa was attacked, the majority of team members were busy plotting! What about poor paralysed Maa?

Where have Pragya's priorities gone? A mission where she is incapable of telling truth or afraid of losing Abhi forever is more important than Maa's life or a baby's life.

Cerealgirl, I have no argument at all over Tannu being a bad mother. And exactly why we don't want her to marry Abhi, who is a good guy. Tannu did a lot of wrong to a lot of people but the baby did not. It is absolutely wrong on Tannu's part to harm innocent people, so it is for Pragya.

Like Abhi never intended to harm Sarla Maa, because she was innocent for him. Exactly why Pragya fell for him while he hated her. He stood up for innocent people during KB hall destruction. If he had thought about Sarla maa being Pragya's family, whom he was supposed to hate, he would not have raised as a good guy. If he thought about Sarla Maa being Pragya's mother (the Pragya who broke up PuLiyah according to him), and didn't help Maa during her heart attack, it would have been awful.

I expect similar stuff from Pragya. And it's an unborn child.

Children of bad people are not bad. Families of bad people are not bad unless they are bad on their own. They do not deserve punishment for their parent/relative's deeds.

About Maa and BB's condition, how come Pragya did not have a role in it?
First of all, it was Pragya who would have told BB about what she learnt of Tannu/Aaliyah. Yes being a loving sister BB might have agreed to help Pragya but why did Pragya take that help?

When BB got ready to go to the kidnappers (Neel and co during AbhiGya kidnap), Abhi stopped her by knocking her down. He realized it's grave danger for that girl to go to kidnappers and he instead took that responsibility on his shoulder. That's called being a big brother!!

Whereas Pragya dreamt Aalu will attack Purab, Pragya knew Aalu was trying push BB down the stairs a day before the accident. Yet she got RaBul married and paraded them in front of Aalu. And she herself had pissed off Aalu so much by "ruling" over MM. When she knows Aalu is so vicious she taunted Aalu often to try to get her make mistakes. And when Ronnie called her in BB reception party about an unknown caterer (Vijay), Pragya did not even pay attention!

Is this all responsible acts? Of course not. Pragya decided to play dangerous games but did not weigh out dangers.

And in Maa's case, she had information that Maa went to Malwani station and she knew Tannu and her BF had taken away some person from the same place. She did not give this valuable information to police. She did not tell Abhi anything. Because of this, Abhi and police could not help her as much as they could have. This also put Maa at more risk. Instead of going to search Tannu with Abhi and not even telling him the reality, she could have let police know. The police are more capable of handling a kidnap than Pragya.

If Pragya took safety measures I would have appreciated that at least she tried.

But even now, she own Abhi's property but does not even hire two guards to put in Maa's room to protect her life. And then we say Pragya is not responsible for what happens to Maa!!!😲

Sorry, Pragya's efforts to protect her folks do not convince me. No wonder ALL her folks suffer so much.. of course herself too.

Bulbul and sarla ma are adults who took this decision on their own...and the baby has always been thought of...the way I am looking at it now...is the same way that tanu..nikhil is playing this game to trap abhi...the team has to counteract in the same way..except one set is doing it for the greater good and one set for the ultimate bad...so in this case...you fight fire with more fire...to catch Nikhil and tanu..the game to revealing them has to be played according to their standards...which as we all know is nasty...and I am not going to hold pragya responsible for bulbul and sarla ma's condition...they came in knowing what they were up against...

Okay then why do we hear everyone accusing Daadi of making Pragya do the drama? 😕 Moreover this mission is Pragya's.. she gains the most out of it if succeeded amongst Daadi, BB, Purab and Pragya... Poor RaBul, their family is shattered trying to help Pragya..😭

Anyways, even if someone says they will die for you, it is your responsibility to not involve others in dangerous stuff!

I don't weigh Tannu and Pragya in the same scale. I weigh Abhi and Pragya in the same scale that way.. To me TaKhil/Aalu etc. are evil... Pragya is not supposed to be so..so the issues.

Baby was thought of before.. at times. Deffo not in this ghost scare sequence.

Anyways Ann, I definitely expect Pragya to be better than Tannu.. Hope you understand that point. I do see how you say she is trying to take evil using evil.. but see the baby is nowhere near evil. So it can be a possible collateral damage in this.

Even in yesterday's episode...pragya's thought about the baby...the baby is definitely not evil..but it is unfortunately a part of tanu's being at this moment...this exposure cannot happen when tanu delivers and attachment is made towards the baby..it has to be made before delivery..it is very unfortunate that the writers have chosen this track to run in this manner..we all agree that it is insensitive and downright disgusting...and the problem is that they ate not ending it in a dignified manner but throwing it in a futher degrade... the plan was dadi..it wasn't pragya's...she followed it skeptically...but at that point in time is was the plan that was made...and it made sense to them...this is a war that is going on...but unfortunately the enemy has one of the worst arsenal..and to be beaten at their own game...it seems the team now has to play by their enemies rules...not once have we heard tanu's concern for her unborn baby in all her misdoing...and maybe it may come down to that tanu did have an abortion or miscarriage and carried on with a fake pregnancy..

Ann, there are 100 ways to put the truth out! They can let Abhi know in many different ways.. get him to do a DNA test.
Abhi is not pregnant. 😆He can be blackmailed with bhoot whatever.. to force him to get a DNA done with Tannu's baby without making Tannu know!

All this Pragya is doing, she thinks those are the only ways.. there are so many other less damaging ways. She has not learnt from her previous ways that sacrificed BB and Maa in a way.

I don't know why Tannu being a bad mother makes Pragya any better when she has decided to scare Tannu along with her baby indirectly.

A person's integrity is that you don't give up your values when life challenges. If you also become like bad people... then it speaks for a person's worth.

The cv's ruled out the dna test from the beginning when pragya overheard alia said they had already organised dna reports to prove abhi is the father...of course they wanted to make this as illogical and drawn out as long as can be..pragya heard the truth after she told abhi yo accept tanu and the baby...there and then not for tanu..but for the baby...abhi is holding on to this baby..for which he lost his fuggy...he believes that this baby is his reminder and link to fuggy..she told him to think of the baby as theirs..now it is not an easy task to tell him in this way..alia and tanu already have everything in place to counteract whatever pragya say or do..unfortunately for us viewers we have to see the good ppl being brought down to the level of the evil doers to defeat them...and it contradicts the constant mantra of the show..that good will eventually triumph over evil...and the cv's are now showing that the evil is so strong that the good has to become somewhat like them to expose them..when what we really want to see is the good ppl..staying strong in their ways..in order to defeat evil...

^that I mostly agree with, Ann.
Abhi will believe if he can do a test on his own. Like let's say a ghost haunts him or a blackmailer keeps telling him the kid is not his. And when Abhi challenges the blackmailer or the ghost, it tells him to get a test done himself.. without letting Tannu know since she is a cheater.
Abhi can always take Tannu for a regular check up and get the test done.

But yeah, CVs want the drag way, not a logical way. Ho hum..
