I remember one of my earlier posts was about women in this show and you had replied 😳 actually preceeding that rabul kiss , there have been several instances when purab wanted a kiss but bb was always reluctant...and that kiss was showcased to provoke alu, i think of it as a plot device. i agree about them wanting to target particular audiences which is apparent in their writing

most of time women are held to different standard than men, Even though the core audiences are women but as you said internal misogyny is so ingrained that they prefer to watch portrayal of females as defined from the male perspective.
