"Shoo.Come here baby lets sleep for a while"
"Arey leave me.."
"Kya yaar fuggy! You wake me up so early and upar se you don't let me cuddle you..let me sleep for some more time na. You have fun chatting with Dadi Aalu and Robin the whole day but I have that concert coming up and I need sleep!"
"You are forgetting something"
"Offo...kya?",he asked fully opening his eyes now ,knowing his darling wife was in no mood to let him sleep.
"What's today's date?"
"Yesterday's date plus one"
"Aww my brainy patidev!"
"Haina? All my lecturer/bookworm patni's influence. Theek hai..yaad aaya..Today is 17th..Why are you testing my memory skills early morning?"
"Sahi jawab ..and?"
"And I win 1000 bucks?"
"Argh it's someone's birthday !"
"17th November? Mine?Nah..Yours?Nah..Dadi Aalu Purab Buls Mithali Bhabhi..no one's!! wait a minute,Akash's kid's birthday?"
"No Abhi.."
"No no don't pout now.. Wait Let me think.."
Fie minutes and countless yes or No's later..
"OMG I know!!!"
"Sachi?" asked an excited Prags,her face glowing like a kid.
"It's Tri's bdayyy! Why didn't you wake me up earlier? We haven't even bought her a gift yet! How can you be so careless Fuggy?"
"What? Me..careless? Wake you up EARLIER?", she asked, now irritated with him blaming her but happy that he finally remembered the date.
"Okay okay sorry.. I know you did your best",he replied flicking her nose with his index finger ,bringing a small smile on her lips..
"Okay get her on skype I will be back in ten minutes.. We will wish her first and then go buy something for her theek hai?"
"Yay! Okay done"
And Pragya logs into Skype and checks if their darling Tri is online and there she was..
"Happy bdayyy Triii"
"Omg omg ! Prags AAP!!!! You remembered ! Thank you SO much!!! You made my dayyy"
"Of course I remembered."
"I was the one who reminded her Tri",came a voice from behind,before Abhi came and settled beside Prags and looked into his IPad screen.
"Abhiii! OMGGG!!! Love you both loads! I don't know how to react.."
"Aww she is all pink.. I want to pull your cheeks right now"
"I will do that on your behalf",Tri replied and pulled her cheeks 😆
"You will get your gift soon..Have fun with Mr Sebastian.. Well,actually spend a lot of time for yourself too..Last bday before wedding after all..",Abhi said and whispered a "Trust me you won't get that chance later",winking at Tri and earning a slap on his arm from Prags..
"Haha I will! Thank you so much you guys! This is probably my best birthday till date! Two of my most favorite people being the first ones to wish me..I will never forget this day"
"Arey we will wish you every year ! Now no emo talks..go and have funnn!",Prags replied and gave a flying kiss to Tri and Abhi did the same.
They gave virtual hugs to her before wishing her a happy day ahead and logging off. A happy beginning to a nice day for Tri and the Mehras :)
Hey guys! So as you must be knowing/must have guessed, it's our dear Tri's bdayyy today! I know this is very very random and wrote this in less than ten minutes so please ignore mistakes 😆
