I genuinely don't understand why many people are upset with the current story...😲

does anyone want to play 20 questions with mina? you ask me a question about something in the story you don't feel positive about, and i tell you why it's a good thing!

eg, question: mina, how can we be happy when abhi is STILL calling pragya an outsider???

answer: OK, well how can we expect abhi to think anything else? While he is very intelligent, we've often seen that his judgment jumps in fits and starts and gets weirdly stalled. Instead of logically assembling all his observations and gut instincts about Pragya still being Fuggy, he has been fully anti-Mugambo in these recent episodes surrounding Bubul's death. That's his headspace. The reason for that is the CVs - when they can make Abhi vicious and stubborn, and headstrong-ly convinced of something that is patently false, they can have really emotional AbhiGya scenes - like the outburst the other day, or like his slap when she said her confession was an April Fool's joke. Anyway, basically you have to understand Abhi and how CVs use him. Of course he still thinks Pragya is an outsider, because that's what he was most recently thinking. He's just suffered another shock with Aaliya's seizing control, he's in no state to think carefully. He's impulsive and hotheaded and until someone can get through to him, forget expecting him to think with a cool head. Thus right now, with his mix of anger, confusion, angst, and helplessness - he is going to be correspondingly suspicious and defensive. Also, it gives Daadi an opportunity to explain why Pragya was never an outsider at all - or for Pragya to. Will that happen? I don't think so, but at least it creates the possibility!

Pragya's reaction today

I thought Pragya did what she always does - not react! Good for her! This is an unexpected military style coup and as the one overthrown, she has no choice but to remain silent.

I want to know what Pragya's thinking about all this, so I'm glad she didn't speak her mind. I don't think she plotted to out Aliya this way or if this is part of her plan!

She's dethroned as mugambo but not exposed as Pragya yet. She can't react as a bhabhi. She didn't react as a wife or a Mehra bahu. She stayed in character as mugambo and went along with the situation. Abhi wasn't expecting baharwali mugambo to defend him! She cannot attack Aliya, MM's new boss.

Now Pragya and dadi need to decide their next move. Is there a need for mugambo now? Dadi may want to end the mission, but Pragya may want to continue. Let's see what happens.

It's dadi call to expose mugambo to Abhi first. Dadi needs to offer an explanation to Abhi about mugambo's mission. The timing and context was not today's episode!

But she had the right reaction to Tanu. Aliya is still family, but Tanu never will be.

CV's want to show Pragya exposure next week to continue the high ratings for next week.

Prani , Thanks for the perspective. It definitely helped me to see things bright if Aliyah getting property papers is not a trap planned by Pragya.

I agree with you that Pragya stays quite when some one is blabbering but the way Pragya leaving MM does not look genuine to me.

Actually I find her behavior since Aliyah announced as she is new boss is strange. And my reasons are
1. Pragya's minimal reactions and little annoyance on loosing her chance to find culprit and her mission.
2. She is still wearing Mugambo cover when there is no need to do so as she lost her game
3. Pragya leaving Abhi and Dadi in Taliyah's clutches and her monologue did not even have a single word about losing her mission to fulfill BB's wishes.
4.Also whole drama was shown as she understood that she is not in a position to handle the Taliyah because she does not have power in hand.. So she gave up and leaving MM quitely. But Pragya being PRAGYA never gives up and she is capable to tolerate any level of humiliation to be near Abhi , Dadi and to help them. But It has been shown otherwise .. And that is forcing me to think it as trap

Even if it is trap or real .. the twist is certainly interesting

YAY!! Thank you Mina .. I am up for the game . And this is the point that bothers me is "Why Abhi feels helpless or powerless with out property ? There is an Abhi beyond his stardom and wealth , he does not recognize his self beyond them or dont want to ?"

How is Pragya supposed to go from Mugambo to Fuggy in one second? And anyway to be Fuggy she has to be accepted by Abhi, otherwise it doesn't have any force. Also IF she were to actually quietly leave, how is that giving up on MM or Abhi?? It's not like she's necessarily walking away forever. Moot point because she's never gonna leave! 😆

A: Abhi doesn't care about his property or his wealth. If he did, he would've been fighting to get them back from Mugambo in the beginning, and probably would have won. Or else he would've walked out of the house and started rebuilding his wealth outside her control. And now, whether it's Mugambo or Aaliya, Abhi does not actually yet feel threatened economically. What's destabilized and paralysed him is this whole context of betrayal, of the people he trusted and loved suddenly turning around to control him, and not being what they presented themselves as. This has hurt and shaken him deeply. But rather than accept the pain and get angry or give up on these ladies (mostly Pragya, because we haven't had a sustained response to Aaliya yet), it seems to me that Abhi is in denial. He cannot accept the situation for what it is, he cannot believe that he was really THAT wrong. He wants to find a way to make everything the way it was again. And until he can know or decide to do that, he'll keep things as they are as long as possible. No forcing decisions on Abhi - he'll make choices on his own terms. In the real world, for a real person, this problem of not having access to his own money would be a serious, immediate problem. But this is a soap, and the problem isn't about finances or practicalities, but about emotions. The material wealth is never important in and of itself - but all the feelings and actions connected to it are. I also get the sense that he doesn't think his stardom is really threatened. The whole time Mugambo was his boss, it had no effect on his public image or his public life - it was a problem he had at home. To the world he was still Abhi the rockstar, ostsensibly doing rockstar things...though God knows when he found the time, when he was home all the time, either moping or playing strange games of taunting or seducing Mugambo and having fun with the PAs!

So that's my answer, based on how I see things...maybe if the way I see it is completely different from the way you see the characters and story, none of the above will make sense or answer your question..sorry!

Nope , Sorry If I have put my question in wrong way or not given the context properly. I am not questioning his state in yesterday's episode or when Pragya turned Mugambo..As I understand he was under grief of betrayal.

My question was about how he was shown before and after Patao mission, how he was thinking to get back his love through getting his property back . He apparently said that was his motto behind patao mission is to get fuggy back..

Context: Few episodes back , his monologue was like he needs to get his property back to get fuggy back..

Basically the same answer from me Raji...if he actually cared about his property, he'd have been a lot more serious about it. Sometimes Abhi has weird short term goals...like pleasing Tanu by making Pragya sign the papers. If there's a way to make sense of his actions as being part of a long term plan, I'm not the one to explain it, because I can't see that at all. In my opinion, the thing about Abhi is that he needs to be in control...so to him it makes sense, "if I control Mugambo with flirting, then I will seize back the property, then I will destroy her, and Fuggy will be back". Basically I don't think he ever cared deeply about the property; if he said that was his goal, it was as a step to whatever his real emotional/control goal was at the time.

hmm Mina , actually my question was not about Abhi caring about property. He never tried win Pragya as he was .. Even when he was venting his pain to Pragya his lines were always like "You are just rockstar for name sake .. nothing else". So my question was " Does he believe in his self worth behind his stardom and wealth? "

PS: Please feel free to ignore my question if you dont want to answer 😊 Do not want to bother you .. My intention is to know your perspective 😳

No bother! Yes, I think he believes in his self-worth outside of his fame. He earned his fame - he qualified for it, worked for it, built it. So the fame is like a trophy and a reward, and outside sign of his success and his capabilities. But the man who inhabits the fame, the man who acquired it - he wears the fame, yes, but it doesn't define him. There's still an Abhi at the core of it - that capable, confident, life-conquering Abhi who has the spirit of a survivor. In earlier days I used to affectionately call Abhi "boy from the chawls." I believe that even he thinks that's still who he is, inside, and under everything. And that boy needs to believe in himself, needs to dream big and fight hard, needs to protect what's his and trust no one to help him - that's how that boy has to live. And such is the same for the man he grew into. His ego and his foolishness can sometimes make him vulnerable, and no doubt after having all this fame and fortune it would be a severe blow to him to lose it...but at the end of the day...however much Abhi might point out his rockstar status, the really important part of that is that he's a self-made success, and that he has the intrinsic talent to have become a rockstar...so yeah. He has self-worth outside being a rockstar! :)
