Hi All,
The show has been on air for 400+ episodes if I understand correctly which translates to roughly about a year and half of airtime?

So just for kicks lets recount how far the story has progressed since it started.

When the show started:

Abhi couldn't stand Pragya
Pragya loved Abhi
Pragya couldn't seem to speak up for herself and set the record straight
Aliya was a self centered, self absorbed, arrogant leech.
Tanu was an annoying side kick who seemed to only care about herself and her image

Hmmm - present day
Abhi still can't stand Pragya (yes his motivation is different now)
Pragya still loves Abhi (he actually knows about this)
Pragya still can't seem to speak up for herself and set the record straight (anyone else think that her half baked plans with Dadi are more annoying than comical?)
Aliya and Tanu have not changed - neither care for Abhi but only care about what their associate with Abhi can do for them

I feel like it's high time that all the negativity be done with and we focus on Abhi and Pragya for a change.

Ditto feelings. The third point annoys me the most.

You covered most of the things. But some others are Abhi fell in love with Pragya and for a teeny weeny span of a day they both were in love as a married couple. And then the hate and MU all over again. I get your point!
I feel its not just Pragya's plans; everyone's plans are annoying to me. How come bad guys and good guys are all at a stalemate? I understand Aliya and raj are stuck now because Pragya has all the money.

Why can't Tanu be exposed? What's stopping that? She's still hanging around hugging Abhi. We can move to AbhiGya or the next track.

When the show started Pragya couldn't stand Abhi. She started falling in love a year ago. And if this is what the show looks like when it doesn't focus on Abhi and Pragya, I don't know how to account for the utter lack of plots that don't directly relate to them. Without "negativity" causing distance between them, there would not be much of a show.

with all due respect I must disagree. This could have been a mature, sensible, progressive story of two individuals who apparently come from very different backgrounds - Abhi is a famous rockstar/celebrity and Pragya a simple middle class professor. I would have loved to see how writers explore this aspect of 2 individuals from such contrasting backgrounds - how Pragya adjusts to Abhi's luxurious lifestyle, how Abhi gets back in touch with reality and the common man, how the universe conspires to give you what you need not what you want - thus kumkum bhagya and how together with their new found understanding of each other - they develop an unbreakable bond.

I am not opposed to side characters to create some sort of conflict - as long as the conflict is sensible and enables the story to move forward. Not this ridiculous nonsense which keeps going in circles.

I would have loved to see all of that too. The potential for that story was what hooked me into the show. But this genre is not made for sensible stories, instead relying on shallow shows of emotion and exaggerated/over-simplified plots. KKB is a soap. It had a premise for a more subtle kind of story telling, but it shouldn't be faulted for being what it is. It's fair to be dissatisfied with the show but expecting more from it than it can give will only deepen the dissatisfaction. Certainly it could be better written and better paced, but fundamentally it has not been built to deliver the more genuine human story that might be wished for.
