𤥠Fun post. Feel good read. Inspiring hope. Squashing negativity. That's what I'm here for. đ¤Ą
It's been a while since I've launched into one of my insane soliloquy-esque type posts. So that's what you'll be getting here. đ
I've been mulling over a theory for quite some time now and I thought I should share it with y'all.
Now this theory of mine started off as nothing more than me merely humoring myself. It was a joke of a thought. I even made a post about it once, but it was more goofy than serious. I thought it more as a dream; something the CVs would never dare do. But the more I thought about it, the more it became almost a form of wishful thinking come true - and now I'm starting to believe that maybe my dream twist will in fact be canon.
At least I hope it will.
I've already shared my theory with some of you on here, but I haven't really gone in to the finer details of why I believe this theory to be true.
So here it is...and nobody dare laugh: I believe that Abhi knows all about Taaliyah's lies, and I believe Raj is the one who told him. âď¸
Now you don't have to agree with me.
This is my mindset. I like to view the show through rose-coloured chasma's - chashma's of which, you are more than welcome to borrow. đł Viewing the show this way helps to keep me sane. đ¤Ş
I know my theory might sound ridiculous, but here me out. This is why I believe that there's more at play with Rabhi and all is not as it seems.
BREAKING THINGS DOWN:
Anurag Sharma (Raj)has a history of playing characters with a moral compass littered across the map. He's played villains and he's played the fun loving type. This is what I think Ekta has brilliantly used to her advantage. Is he good or is he bad? This is the burning question of the hour. Because Raj's role could really go either way, but my guess is that he's good.
As someone has so nicely pointed out to me on here (sorry love I can't remember who you are right now and I'm much too lazy to go look up my old post, because I'm sleep writing this post as I type), my initial fear of Raj is baseless, because he hasn't really done anything as of yet.
Because seriously, what has he done?! Think about it. All of his intervening and planning tends to do more good than harm.
Example numero uno from the get-go: He told the family that Pragya's property papers were legit. If he's as cunning as he claims to be, he could have found some way to stall Pragya's entry in to MM, but he did nothing. Raj was once a Government Officer, I'm pretty sure he could have made up some half-assed excuse about section-blah-blah that would have thrown a curve ball into P's re-entry in order to stall for time and give him the means needed to usurp more assets, and yet he did nothing.
All Raj has ever said when it came to Pragya's re-entry is that he needs to keep an eye on her and be careful around her. As he should. He has no idea why Pragya is here and if she's a threat. Is she here to hurt Abhi or is she here to help him? Raj is just as confused about her behaviour as Abhi is.
Now let's put ourselves in Raj's shoes, and for a moment let's all pretend that I'm right. That he's on Team Abhi. Now look at it this way. This is how I believe everything went down:
Raj accepts Aaliya's offer and Aaliyah gets Raj out of jail on Friendship Day. He barely has time to process things and run damage control, because first he has to make a show to Aaliyah that he means business and is on her side - which he quickly does by coldshouldering Abhi upon his return to MM after being sprung from jail. He sold it to Aalu well that he was Team Aaliyah in that moment and what does Aalu do? She drags him off to Abhi's concert to wreak havoc that very same afternoon.
What happens at that concert is interesting, because lets rewind shall we. It is Aaliyah who texts Abhi about Pragya's accident, not Raj. It is Aaliyah who hires goons to stone Abhi, not Raj. What did Raj do - he told Aalu clearly that Abhi should not get hurt, but Aaliyah ignored him. Then what happened, Pragya runs in, shields Abhi with her duputta, abhigya have a moment backstage and then Abhi sings and serenades Pragya on stage. All Raj could do at this point is fake displeasure and sell it hard to Aaliyah that he's on her side the best he can, so that Aalu doesn't grow suspicious. But even then, he still tried to guilt trip her into repenting. What did he say to her when they got back from the concert and returned to her room to reroup: all that stands between you and your revenge is your love for Purab. The moment you get that, you'll run back to Abhi. So choose a side before it is too late, because once I get started on my plan, it will be too late for you to back out. (TRANSLATION @ bold: once I tell Abhi that you're pure evil, it'll suck to be you). Raj provided Aaliyah with an out in that moment, but sadly Aalu didn't take it. She chose to continue with her revenge plan and wouldn't stop pestering Raj about taking action. Because this is what Raj complains about on the daily: Taaliyah are constantly on his back about some nefarious plan or another.
So anyways, after that Friendship Day concert, after Raj has provided Aaliyah with an out, what happens? Abhi whisks Pragya away and confesses his love. Abhigya get all of 2 minutes of happiness together before they both return to MM and announce their separation to Daadi. The very next morning Pragya is gone.
Now keep in mind, Raj just got out of jail a few hours ago. All of this has happened within a span of a few hours. Abhi's wife has just left him. He's shattered. Would you go to your brother in that moment and add to his grief and tell him, "oh hey - your sister is also trying to bankrupt you. She has some sinister plan to bring you down. I don't know what it is. But yeah. I'll just add to your pain and leave you to deal with that too."
The thing is, Raj could have done that. It would have crippled Abhi emotionally. And yet he did not do that.
Why? Because he's Team Abhi. Telling Abhi about Aaliyah then wouldn't have been the right time. He gave Aaliyah an out, clearly gave Aalu time to accept it and she refused it -just as she didn't heed Rita Ma's advice. Raj must have quickly realized Aaliyah was a lost cause and had no other choice but to then go to Abhi. But considering that Pragya had just left and Abhi was shattered, he couldn't do so immediately. The right thing to do - the humane thing to do - would have been to wait a few days... ergo, our first leap.
The use of leaps was a clever move. It confused the audience, because most of us were left scratching our heads while trying to process our new surroundings. The story had clearly moved (as evidence through Rachna's sudden delivery) and so we (the audience) felt like we were watching a movie with pieces missing.
I believe that it was during the first time jump that Raj eventually went to Abhi and explained what Aaliyah was up to. The thing is neither man knew what Aaliyah's next move would be. Abhi knows his sister. He warned everyone about her. Anger would have fueled him into throwing her out of the house, but how could he do that now? Daadi had emotionally blackmailed him the last time in to not doing so just days earlier. If anyone needed proof to accomplish their aim it would be Abhi not PraDaRaBul. Because this would be Abhi's mindset: Daadi didn't let him toss Aalu out for murder, would she really let him do so now, just because he heard through the grapevine that Aaliyah was plotting his end. He had no proof of that.
But above all else, Abhi is strategic. He now knows Aaliyah is up to no good and planning to bring him down, but he has no idea as to how she plans on doing that. Even if he threw her out of his house, that wouldn't fix the problem. Aaliyah could still plan his destruction from the outside.
This is where Raj comes into play. I believe that the day Pragya overheard Aaliyah discussing her plans to Raj is also the day Raj found out what Aaliyah's end game was: how she planned to set up Purab, how she planned to destroy Abhi's reputation, and how Abhi wasn't the father of Tanu's baby.
However, word of Pragya's supposed accident is what kept Raj from immediately going to Abhi once again with what he found out. Why? Because Abhi was an emotional mess that day. Again Raj would have to wait a few days...and again, we were treated to another leap.
During our second leap is when Raj must have told Abhi what was going on. More specifically after Abhi had received Pragya's letter.
Now, as ridiculous as what I'm about to say might sound - take this into consideration before I say it: My friend once dated this guy with horrible anger issues. It got to a point where she told him that if he wanted her in his life he would have to get help to control his anger or else she would walk away and he would never see her again. He maned up. Met with a therapist and has since overcome most of his impulsive quirks. The interesting thing about his experience is the exercises. Do you know what one of the exercises was that that therapist prescribed to help him deal with his issues...he was asked to keep a diary.
It's interesting that Abhi kept a diary during Fuggy's absence. Why not a song book? Why not channel his pain and frustration creatively into his music? Because that's what musicians tend to do, and yet he didn't do that.
The clever thing about the leap is that we (the audience) were robbed of seeing how Abhigya dealt with their separation. We've caught glimpses of Pragya's training, and we have only heard from Abhi about what he went through. But who's to say that during that time apart that Abhi wasn't just mourning his separation from Pragya. What if also during that time he was fighting the urge to keep himself from outright murdering Tanu and Aaliyah. We've seen that Abhi has forbidden Pragya from touching his dairy. Only Fuggy gets the right to touch it. Only Fuggy deserves to know the truth of what transpired while she was gone. Abhi has no reason to suspect that Pragya knows about Taaliyah, just as Pragya has no reason to believe that Abhi already knows the truth himself. Pragya may be working on ways to save him, but what if Abhi has already been finding ways to save himself? If Pragya were to read his diary - what would she find? Tales of his woe? Or would she also find passages that scream that he wants nothing more than to snap some necks. I'm sure he's much too smart to write down what he knows. But even if Taaliyah ever came across his diary, how would they even know his rantings are about them? For all we know he gave Taaliyah nicknames and all they would see are pages and pages of hate directed at Lady Ravan and Nagin (đđđ).
Everyone keeps talking about how lethal Abhi's anger is, but who's to say he didn't work through all of that during the 20 day leap? Who's to say he didn't find a more productive way to channel that anger? Who's to say that he hasn't been working on the most fabulous exposure plan to reveal Taaliyah's truth? Raj keeps speaking of a plan to Taaliyah. He keeps saying that the plan he's working on will take some time. What if the plan he keeps speaking of is not directed at Pragya but at Taaliyah themselves?
Taaliyah have been busy coming up with schemes to get their hands on money. Raj has been busy supposedly meeting with lawyers. Is he really meeting with lawyers or is he just telling Taaliyah what they want to hear and buying time?
And even when goons are brought in, they are incompetent. It discredits Raj as a villain if he surrounds himself with cartoon-like mobsters. I mean seriously, just look at the Utsav: one goon took the time to crouch down beside RaBul, tell them the directions for the cops to find their lair, and then he just wandered off and left them be! It's also interesting to point out that when Raj heard Pragya in that truck and turned on his hired goon - when his hired goon casually mentioned about chucking P out of the moving truck, Raj rightly reminded him whose wife she was and that he was to keep to himself. It was also Aaliyah who ordered the goons to kill Pragya and Bulbul, not Raj. And even now with the upcoming hired shooter, the scenes sound more comic than naught. It is Aaliyah who has hired the shooter, not Raj. It's always been Aaliyah thus far. Maybe now with Aalu out of the office he can finally breathe a sigh of relief. You can tell he's at his wits end, so much so that tried to capitalize on PraDaRaBul's plan and made a play for Abhi to throw Aaliyah out of the house.
So, just as Abhi was the wild card during the MMS drama, Raj is our wild card this time around.
There has to be more as to why every time Mitali talks about her suspicions about Daadi that he never overhears, isn't around to hear, or the conversation shifts when he approaches.
I believe the use of leaps were used more as a way to hide what rabhi have been up to, in order to better blindside us all when the shat hits the fan.
I may be in the minority here, but I honestly feel that it shouldn't be Pragya's responsibility to get rid of Tanu. By nature P is an avenging angel who always tries to save everybody, so it's in her character to do the same for Abhi here too. But the thing is, Pragya never asked for Tanu to be in her life. She was a horror that was always forced upon her. Pragya doesn't need to save Abhi, because she's already done so. Just by her merely entering his life when she did, saved him. The thing is Tabhi have never had a healthy relationship. They were always fighting about stupid things constantly. The point is, if a person is going to cheat - they will cheat. Something or the other would have eventually soured their relationship, so even if Pragya had never entered Abhi's life, Tanu would have still found some reason or the other to cheat on Abhi and blame the reason for doing so on one of their many tiffs. Tanu was brought into abhigya's life due to her relationship with Abhi. Only Abhi has the right to kick her out the door. It would be more poignant and meaningful that way. Which is why I'm hoping Abhi saves himself.
