Malaysia does have a lot of desi people na, Abi? When I went sight seeing in Kuala Lumpur I was surprised how many desi origin folks I saw especially Tamils. You would have a huge crowd I feel.

This event will something like the Toronto one! Like, Shabir's event was embedded in the Mahotsav event!

It is being held at a Deepavali Carnival. It's not like the NYC one it seems.

Just doing my own venue research to have a better idea 😛

Abi, check if other TV celebs have been to such events in the same place.. you can get a better idea from it. Or just go a bit in advance and ask the organizers what it's gonna be. They might explain to you.
Although in NYC, it was India independence day event and there were a lot of people/other events. The organizers had no clear idea and guided me wrong.

I do somewhat. I can follow a bit. But most of my Tamil understanding is from the classical dance I learnt and there were many Tamil songs in it. My teacher was a Tamil too.
