Poor Abhi. My heart hurts for him. He's like a fragile little bird right now. But I am glad he's coming home drunk, because there's been a method to Abhi's madness. And it happens in 3 stages:

STAGE 3: EMERGE FROM THE ASHES: He sleeps it off -- only to emerge from it like a boss - like a changed person. Someone who now sees the world differently.
Pragya may have fought and conquered death -- but its Abhi who will rise from the ashes. He's been a walking corpse since their separation; dying slowly on the inside.
And as unstable as his method may sound, the process more or so wakes up his mind - allowing him to see the world as it spins back around in a whole new way.
So I'm glad he got drunk. I've been waiting for it. Stage 1 and 2 will be complete. I'm just waiting for him to go to bed and wake up in usual Detective mode. He always thinks more clearly after stage 3.
Stage 3 needs to get here like now. 😆
