Foreshadowing: Kudos CVs

Whether it is positive or negative in nature - Kumkum Bhagya is ripe with foreshadowing. I'm an ardent believer that nothing is ever random on this show - be it dialogue or something symbolic -- I truly believe that everything said and done will eventually come full circle.

Let's all name some notable moments that you've noticed.

Here are a few of mine:

1. Abhi's professes his love -- Our current track: Abhi searching for his Fuggy.

During his confession Abhi vowed to Pragya that no matter what her answer was - no matter how she felt - he didn't care. All he knew was how he felt. And as a result, wherever she went - she would always find him there, because he would always search for her. And if he couldn't find her then he would be patient, but above everything else - he would always look for her in everything and everywhere.

At the time, it seemed as though those words pertained to the accident that eventually followed. Abhi was frantic. He searched everywhere for her...and yet they never met.

Instead what we saw was an interesting conversation - that of which, took place between Abhi and Arjun. Both men discussed love, trust and faith. The gist of the conversation: that this was Abhi's test. Yes he couldn't find Pragya. Yes, he returned home empty handed. But his faith never wavered. His love remained true. And his trust...was about to be tested.

Pragya did return to him. But when she did she claimed that she wasn't his Fuggy. And our Rockstar - he does not believe her.

Our current track is now fulfilling the vow Abhi had made. He's on a mission here: he's searching for his Fuggy, who is lost somewhere inside this new Pragya -- he's searching just like he vowed he would always do when he confessed his love to her. He won't give up. He'll keep searching until he finds her. He'll wait as long as it takes, for her to return to him. His trust in her is strong.

2. Purab's warning: when will you tell her you love her? When she leaves?!

Though said in frustration. Purab's words sadly came true. The day Abhi finally confessed...a few hours later Pragya left MM for good.

3. Hate Track: Abhi telling Pragya - even if you lay dying in a hospital, I wouldn't come.

This was said during the height of his misunderstanding. Of course looking back at it now - Abhi would rather take a bullet to the chest (heh. Oh wait he did!) than ever say something so cruel. But this did essentially happen. Yes, he searched like a madman for her, but the girl did flatline -- technically dying in a hospital without him around.

4. Contradiction: Wealth vs Kumkum -- Bhagya's inside joke.

This show made a point in its earlier days of hinting that there would come a day where Abhi would lose everything. But at the same time we learned that Pragya was Abhi's Lakshmi -- as long as she was with him, he would be prosperous and fine. Now the day she left - that would spurn his downfall. And yet we were also told that Kumkum and Bhagya would overpower all: Pragya would never leave him, because they were fated - nothing could ever tear them apart...hence our current track: Pragya did leave Abhi - and yet she didn't. Abhi lost everything - but it was Pragya who usurped it all in an attempt to save him. Beautiful irony.

5. Tilak to the rescue!

Who could forget that scene where Pragya prayed and asked God to end all of Abhi's troubles and to help fix their situation. She begged for a sign and what we got was Abhi unknowingly receiving Tilak after refusing it from Pragya.

It was the sign she needed and what happened next shook the show to its core.

Because really, what has always been abhigya's biggest source of trouble? Tanu's pregnancy drama - no. It was the lie that they've been living with since Pragya entered MM: the truth of their marriage.

Yes a lot of unnecessary drama was created. Yes, the situation spiraled - but Tilak did protect and did exactly what was needed. Yes, Tanu's drama is dripping with deciet but the end result remains the same: abhigya now have a blank slate. Once Tanu is exposed, they no longer carry that weight. They're free to move on without worrying about their biggest secret to date being exposed. It's all out in the open (well the need-to-know parts anyways).

I'm sure there's a million more. A few more actually still come to mind, but I'm curious to see other perspectives.

I've been thinking about the trust issues as well and the way things are going, it looks to me as though Abhi will face quite a few scenarios to test his trust and faith in his wife. As always we may be pushed to the brink with this but these are big ticket items on the road to Abhigya.

You know I'm still very glad they didnt shift Abhi to a chawl, which is what I was dreading when they shown him losing everything. Still like the context.

I am wanting to look back and see what they said when they has their last prayer in front of God before she leaves the house and what they wished for each other because it has a lot of foreshadowing too!

The Kumkum is a big question mark, if her kumkum is no longer valid/she is really Pragya Arora, Kumkum winning or her fighting for it seems a little shallow.

If she still is Pragya Mehra, then Kumkum still rules 😆

Yes I agree .. KKB bleeds symbolism and writers always show there is value to every word spoken by the characters in the show..

Here are some more points..

1. Remember when Aakash was proved guilty by Pragya and Dadi fell sick , Dadi asked Abhi to get a Bahu who can get whole family back to roots and lead them to right Path. I guess current track is focusing on it.

2. Abhi confrontation lines to god while she is missing also will be shown , I guess this track will eventually lead to that .

But they mess up the dates badly. They celebrate all festivals according to real dates.. that makes the story mess and does not make any sense.. remember Abhigya cellebrated Valentines day , Holi , Pragya's confession claimed as April fool prank during kidnapping track and Tanu claimed she is of 1 and half months pregnant with Abhi's child. .

" Being in love is not looking into each others' eyes. It's two people looking together at the same direction." That's how Pragya defined love to bb before she got married. She and Abhi are not quite there and have a long way to go to live up to that definition.

"I'll emotionally blackmail Abhi so that he has no choice but to marry me." Tanu tells Aliya in episode 200. Bulbul challenged Tanu she'd get Abhigya together. Tanu has been plotting this pregnancy to make sure she'd win in that challenge.

"Yeh ek imtihaan hein." This is a test for us - When Abhigya were separating, dadi says this to dadi. Both Abhi's and Pragya's trust and faith in each is being tested now. Abhi is testing Pragya to see if his fuggi is still lurking in there behind Pragya the Boss. And Pragya is testing Abhi to see if he can trust his love. Not to mention this is all really testing the viewers who just want Abhigya's union!

Arjun's tells Abhi to have faith and trust in his love when they were at the Dargah. That's a huge hint for Abhi.

"Bring Pragya back to me and I'll give her what you're not." This was Abhi prayer right before Pragya's accident. In a way she has (or Abhi has unknowingly given the property if it's really transferred to Pragya) taken his limelight. That's probably not what he meant. We'll have to see what happens and what else Abhi will give Pragya.

"Purab, After what Aaliya did, I feel we'll never get married." "Bulbul, even if we don't get married, I'll always be there for you." This is Rabbi's dialog on the day Pragya got into an accident. This is a strong indication they may not get married. That's sort of expected in Ekta kapoors serials for parallel lead couple. Their main role is to make sure the lead couple unite and stay united.

Both Abhi's and Pragya's love confessions are very telling and sound ominous of a long journey to be united in love. Pragya confesses that it's not important that she live with her love. It was more important to have loved in life. And Abhi confesses that he cannot live without Pragya and he'll keep searching for his love here in this world and out among the stars and sky. That could be telling us that the cycle of uniting and separating may happen again.

So many little hints and foretelling to prepare us! 😊

This scene was extremely symbolic, the moment it happened - I died a little bit on the inside - because in that moment it had become abundantly clear: Tanu would always be in abhigya's married life, every step of the way - imposing herself on them throughout their marriage. The only way to stop this cycle was for abhigya to ultimately divorce.

NIKHIL: "IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE - SET THEM FREE. IF THEY RETURN TO YOU, THEY'RE YOURS. IF NOT, THEY WERE NEVER YOURS TO BEGIN WITH"... NOT!!!!!!

But Nikhil's warning to Tanu is reason enough for us abhigyaians to celebrate: In the end, you will come running to me yourself!

Nikhil is MIA because he really doesn't need to be here. Whether Tanu is exposed and thrown out or she herself confesses -- the end result remains the same: Nikhil will be her only option once everything comes crumbling down around her. He made the bed and she chose to lie down on it. I just hope her eventual life with Nikhil is no bed of roses, but a bed of thorns -- considering that is what she was to Pragya all along: a thorn in our girl's side.
