I think she's hiding behind the act of
cost cutting. Sure it serves the purpose of fulfilling Daadi's original wish - by reminding everyone of their roots. But more than that I think all this really does is stop Raj's hacking. Pragya sealing off Abhi's accounts prevents this from happening - because the moment someone tries to withdraw money - she will be alerted. Not only that, Abhi will definitely go home and rant to Team Abhi about how Pragya has officially lost her mind and is cutting costs at work just as she is at home. But more importantly - he will let them know that she's looking into his accounts. This will more than likely spook Raj and Aaliya, because if Pragya is looking into his accounts she's bound to take note of the missing money they withdrew. They will have to rush to put that money back before its noticed as not being there.
It's interesting that Purab and Akaash weren't in the office while all of this was happening...
Raj is the only person I'm worried about here, because we still don't know his deal. He's smart. But what I find interesting is that he was foolish enough to allow Aaliya to let Tanu know he's on Team Taaliyah. I doubt he knows all about Tanu's baby daddy truth, because that would be icky and weird. But atleast he knows Tanu is their Team's weakest link - the less she knows the better. But Tanu already seems to know enough about him and his role. Pragya is successful in one regard, because Tanu is definitely feeling the pressure and is bound to crack. And if Tanu goes down, she will undoubtedly drag them down with her. And delaying the wedding means that it will show up in the news -- which might mean Nikhil comes out of hiding...that is if Aalu didn't already flat out kill him.
But I feel like Raj is working on plan to eject himself out of the situation should the s🤬 hit the fan and essentially escape unscathed (maybe blackmail his wife to take the fall: say you were Aalu's partner or I turn you in for the marriage hall scam and you can rot in jail. Do my bidding and I'll protect you).
And as for that precap - no way did Pragya mess with Daadi's food. All her house rules are in favour of Daadi living a healthy lifestyle (go to bed early, wake up early, eat on time (meaning she has to take her medicine on time), etc..) And if Abhi is mad at her, then it only goes to further her cause because isn't that what she wants - for him to think the worst of her. Hiding behind his hate is her only advantage. It keeps the villains at bay. Let them think that all she cares about is cutting costs.
