I think that CVs should have chosen a different track and not use the property & money track since Pragya used these tricks so that she could be pout of the house and Tanu in already. I am talking about Pragya stealing Abhi's money and buying properties.

If Abhi, dadi & whole family have good memories (but they could have amnesia too - with daily soaps, expect the unexpected), Pragya's act will be caught easily.

Knowing Pragya, Abhi will know that she is faking it again.

I think the track could have been more interesting as follows:

Pragya coming back with bold and glamorous avatar.

Saying that she decided to not sign on divorce paper.

Claim still being Mrs Pragya Abhishek Prem Mehra and move back in her room

Stop the wedding and torture Tanu.

Id she does that both dadi & Abhi will support her

And slowly reveal the truth to all

I'm actually happy with the way Pragya chose to approach things. If she came back claiming her rights as Mrs. Abhishek Prem Mehra then that would only ultimately hurt Abhi in the process, because Pragya knows Aaliya has already framed Abhi from every possible angle as the baby daddy - DNA tests and reports prove otherwise. Tanu would simply go to the press and present a sob story about how Abhi fooled the world because he got her pregnant while pretending to be happily married and devoted to his wife. Abhi himself, recently went on the record saying that earlier all his talk and singing about love was a farce and that he had been deceiving his fans. Taaliyah would essentially turn those words against him. Then who would believe him? He has no proof, and every bit of evidence Aaliya has fabricated will paint him as a liar in the eyes of the public - a man who refused to take responsibility. Tanu would be seen as the victim and Abhi's image and name would be destroyed.

Aaliya is using Tanu and her drama as a front to hide behind while she plots and drains her brother's account to frame Purab. Pragya usurping and taking full control of everything nixes that scheme in the bud, because she essentially beat Aaliya to the punch and made everything hers. Purab won't be blamed for stealing -- Pragya has now painted herself into that role. Aaliya no longer has a fall guy for her plan (Purab) and no money to steal, because that money no longer belongs to Abhi or the Mehra's to claim rights on - it belongs to Pragya and Pragya only.

And now with everything belonging to Pragya Tanu will start to sweat and panic. It will be Tanu that will now come up with ways to stall her own wedding, because she will not marry Abhi without first making sure that she has a cash cow. Taaliyah will essentially turn on each other and Tanu will try and leave Aaliya in the lurch and gladly run off to Nikhil. But after everything Tanu put Pragya through her sendoff will be a grand one, I'm sure. Public exposure at the mandap will be fitting: not only will she be humiliated in front of guests and face the Arora and Mehra's wrath, but her name will be ruined. All her modelling contracts will vanish. She will lose face in front of her parents. The fallout will be spectacular.

Pragya's new makeover serves one purpose: to seem unrecognizable - both physically and behaviourally. It's a clever tactic to blindside the villains. To make it seem like that she has truly changed. Earlier no one took her seriously, because she looked 'innocent.' What's that old saying: that 'The Devil is Beautiful'...

Honestly, I had thought that it would be like this but cvs went in for the tried and tested track😆 She could have gotten to her target while gaining the respect of Abhi and his family for putting on a fair fight for her marriage.
This gold-digger track is usually put in to pave the way for the "famous" sacrifice track at a later date.

Almost every show made by EK has a track wherein the heroine does some mahaan act or sacrifice to save her husband/family. Anything goes, right from going to jail, to leaving home and being presumed dead. The odds are usually stacked against the heroine in such a way that there is no way out but to leave.

I dont know who the cvs are for this show but if it is any of her old stalwarts then at some point during this track Tannu/Aliya will push Pragya into a corner and give her 2 options. 1) leave Abhi and mm OR 2) Watch Abhi lose everything/go to jail for something or other/die. Basically it's blackmail. No prizes for guessing which option EK's mahaan bahu will accept😆

I have seen many of EK's shows and so far every one of them has had this track in some form or the other. Needless to say I jump ship at it's start😆

Undoubtedly😆 EK's heroes are always cute but not very gifted in grey matter😉

I forgot to add, the sacrifice track usually leads to a leap where the vamp is shown living with the hero while the heroine is shown chakki pisoing😆

Really sorry for being such a prophet of doom but I've been there, seen that too many times now.
