I feel cheated

I don't know about everyone else but I feel like Abhi's love confession caught me by surprise. I was not expecting him to confess and we were not given any signs. I didn't expect it to happen so soon and I wish it was built up to so we could really feel the love was genuine from his side. I'm not saying his love is not true, it's just unexpected as were not given any clues. The only other time he came close to confessing his feelings was the day Pragya found out about Tanu's pregnancy and rejected him before he even declared his love for her. After that, there were never really any scenes that confirmed he loved her, not in his mind or dialogue. We as the viewers felt it in his actions only but it seemed that he hadn't fully realised it himself.

Now I feel like we missed a whole episode in between where Abhi had cleared his confusion. That scene where he was shown holding her hand and saying to himself today I am going to confess my love for you, where did it come from? It's not like he tried continuously in the past and failed. He tried once only. I just feel cheated because it could have been done under different circumstances, not when his sister is determined to get back at him, when Tanu is pretending to be the mother of his child, when his dadi is upset with him, when raj is backstabbing him, when Purab whom he takes guidance from is missing in action.


I cant help but think that the cvs have a bigger plan that we are yet to find out about. Just think about it for a minute, when Abhi finds out the truth about Tanu's baby, I would hate him to finally realise then that Pragya was the love of his life and then declare his undying love for her. It would seem that Pragya was his second choice. In tbis way, now that she knows he loves her, even whilst he finds himself in a predicament, it wouldn't be difficult for her to believe in his love.

Nicely put Aessop! Interesting point at the end that maybe this was done to avoid making Pragya look like a second choice. I agree that it seemed sudden, which is kind of funny to say given we've waited so long, but the development just wasn't there as you said. And personally, I don't believe in Abhi's love. Maybe when or if he can ever be less me-me-me I can take his declaration seriously. I don't want to believe this is the CV's take on Abhi in true love because it looks all hollow to me.

@bold- bang on! Same thought.. Abhi has been inconsistent with his feelings and actions.. There was not even a single monologue before the rock concert where he confirms his love for pragya.. Because after he stops pragya's abortion drama before dadi, he comes to the mirror and says 'I stopped this drama because of friendship or due to something else?' so is this a question or answer that he loves her? 😕 And ya.. Him confessing to her is a good thing and something which people were expecting.. But all of a sudden telling himself in rock concert? Not even a day before he was seem to have been thinking about that! That portion seems rushed after showing so much of crap all these days!

I totally agree with Tia,he had that feeling but when he got that message and when she saved him he thought that was the right time.He didn't allow her to go out of MM and he even offered friendship to her so that he can be in touch with her.The cv's had to end this track after this they don't know how to drag if this is not done TaBhi wedding wont happen and tanu wont be exposed they expected something but it backfired.

Agree Aessop. There was a disconnect.That's because his monologue is never shown by CVS. And what's in his head can be interpreted by 10 diff people in 10 diff ways 😊
