So it happened like this.
Abhi decided to be the worst husband and told Pragya- I will be the worst hubby, because you are a biatch.
Pragya- yes I am (in her head- if I say otherwise you will hurt my family).
But even without Pragya telling him the truth he has been the best support to her and her family.
Eventually he did figure out Pragya is not a biatch, and even wanted to be a good husband. But yeah he can't switch things overnight. But the thought of what he would be if he will be a regular husband compared to what he was when he was a hating husband..hmm.. Anyways

Him being good to her family makes him a good son-in-law more than a good husband. He didn't do it for her sake, but for theirs and his own sense of responsibility/humanity. As a husband he has to be judged on how he's treated Pragya. That hasn't been enough to earn him "worst husband in the world," but he himself feels he has been unfair to her. He never thought he was doing the right thing (except in terms of Aalu) and now he's finally facing how it feels to have done wrong anyway.

I don't see any point in judging his husband quotient when he himself wanted to be the worst.
He of course is himself guilty because he was wrong in his judgement of Pragya and because of that he literally wronged her. But still no fun in letting someone keeping wronging while you know he wouldn't be that if he knew better. And perhaps that is why Pragya is never really mad at him.

What's interesting is that Abhi is judging himself. He brought this up because he was saying he knows he doesn't deserve better from her than abandonment. I'm happy to see this.

At whichever moment Pragya realized Abhi was not all bad - if she had tried to explain that she wasn't what he thought she was, was there any point in time when he'd have believed her? Pragya could not have stopped his behaviour by telling him her truth. It's only after so long of seeing her truth that he's changing internally. And regardless, Pragya enabling him doesn't excuse Abhi's actions. He is responsible for his own choices.

There were many ways for Pragya to let him know the truth and prove it to him. She could even talk to Daadi in some way or use Purab/BB. No, she didn't make any serious attempt to explain it to him. Even that "kiss" misunderstanding, which was a rumour spread from her-BB-Tannu to all, she chooses not to answer him when he probes her. It's like she lets him figure out things on his own and ends up prolong the MU/problem.

Yes Abhi is responsible for his choices but that doesn't discount Pragya from not letting him the truth even when she had her chances or walk out on him and save herself from the problem. She chose to stay, chose to endure whatever the "torture" it was while accepting his favours too (eventually it was totally her choice given the emotions she developed for him). So, I would not say that Pragya was a victim here except for the wedding/wedding night. After that she mislead him in order to protect her folks even accepting Purab as her lover etc. How can we blame him completely for Tannu flaunting when to him it looked like she was flaunting Purab?

By the time it was PuLiyah first shaadi, it had become almost a unsaid agreement for both of them to somehow continue in the marriage for their elders.

The point is Pragya doesn't and hardly ever hated him because she recognized his stance and MU completely and she herself knew the weird situation that caused the problems. She isn't a victim here but a part of the whole charade although her motivations weren't vengeful.
