Great story idea

Feel bad for Abhi but glad they're separate

Haha would've loved to see Tanu's face when Abhi said he's leaving his money for his Dadi and Aaliyah!

Purab and bulbul glad they're married and seem happy and dramafree together

Interesting that there's no Pragya. It'll be nice to read about these two with a clean slate

Pragya Arora

She sat at the lounge of the JFK airport in New York as she waited for her flight to be announced. Her face broke out into a smile at the thought of going back home, to India. It had been ten years since she saw the country. Ten long years since she left her people to be with the one man she had loved.

Pragya had left the nation as Pragya Suresh Malhotra ten years ago. A smart and independent woman, she met Suresh, a management lecturer, at the university where she taught literature. Both, being intelligent individuals and the best with their respective subjects, were invited as panelists in a study programme at the States. That's when they decided to get married. The study ended in a couple of years but they continued as professors in the same university.

One fateful day, when Suresh was returning home from work, he lost control over his car and had an accident. Though the accident wasn't of a great intensity, the shock had him paralysed. Pragya kept hopes alive. She tried everything she could to get him back. She took him to the best of doctors, gave him the best care possible, but nothing seemed to work. She stayed happy around him and cheer him up, but he was sinking. Deep down, she feared. She had lost her parents to an accident. Now her husband was in this state because of an accident. Maybe, fate was playing with her. One fine day, she woke up, but, he never did. 3 years after marriage she was left alone, yet again.

She was, however, a strong woman. Pragya continued her life willingly in the US and continued teaching at the university. She never gave up and decided to take up the challenge life threw at her.

She had missed her country, her city and her people. But, she missed her little sister Bulbul the most. Manu, as she called her, was her little baby, who she brought up with a lot of love. Orphaned as kids, their mama had taken them to Delhi for a few years until Pragya had decided to come to Mumbai for her masters. Bulbul still lived at Delhi. After her studies, Pragya found a job in Pune and moved there.

The only time she had come to India in these years was for two weeks, about 5 years ago, when Manu married Purab. She was over the moon when Bulbul had introduced her to Purab on skype, who she took a liking to instantly. He seemed like a decent guy who loved her Manu. A few more chats and she knew Purab would never hurt her sister. The two had bonded well too and he was more like a brother she never had since then.

The captain announced the seat belts to be fastened for the landing and Pragya felt a sudden nervousness. She had been firm on returning to India since she was invited to be a faculty at a prestigious institute in Mumbai. She had been happy that she'd be able to live with her sister and Purab here. However, when she was so close to reaching home, a knot formed in her gut as she thought about what life would be like from now on, how the society would see her and if she had it in her to start life again.

Mumbai was not new to her. She had spent quite a few years here while she was doing masters. She had made a few good friends and her thoughts went back to how they must be now. She recollected how much the city had given her and how good the people here had been to her. She remembered all the fun she had here. The fear vanished and a light smile appeared on her face. She felt hopeful now and looked forward to the new life ahead.

She waited for her baggage at the conveyor when her phone rang. "Yeah manu! The flight has landed. Im at the baggage. I'll be out soon, baccha." She said to her excited lil sister who had come to pick her up.

A fresh life awaited her and she decided that she was ready to embrace any situation that would come her way. Life had taught her well how to survive and she knew she was good at it!

Wow, short but sweet chapter, so Pragya really has been through a lot, more than Abhi I think, once again some very powerful lines which I loved 👏 -

One fine day, she woke up, but, he never did. 3 years after marriage she was left alone, yet again.

A fresh life awaited her and she decided that she was ready to embrace any situation that would come her way. Life had taught her well how to survive and she knew she was good at it!

Really eager to know what happens when Abhigya will meet, long time till love but still, friendship would be a nice place to start, no misunderstandings hopefully, cause the show is full of them. 😆

Overall, a nice part 2 and as last time, waiting for the next!

Pragya is a survivor really
She knows what's to be hurt by the cycle of life.. I can't wait to see how Abhigya will met and maybe their meeting will be new fresh event in their life :)
