Chapter 13- sorry

Life is simple if we keep our relationship simple. Too much thinking and calculations make relations sour. Say what you want to say. Listen to your heart and everything will be right. Love is about taking chances and having hopes. It's about being sorry and also about its okay.

***Arora house***

I am sorry alia. I am sorry I hurt you. I am sorry I broke your heart. God! I made her cry. Her tears pierced in my heart. I shouldn't have hurt her. But, there was no other way. If I would have done this after we got together then, she would have been more hurt. Was it possible? Me and her? God!!!Why is it so messed up? - Sid was in an internal turmoil. Was it the guilt of hurting alias feelings or was it because he and alia can't be together. He didn't want Abhi to think badly of him. But, alia was his girl, whose heart he broke today.

While Sid was thinking of alia, his papdi was busy hating Abhishek.

Pragyas mobile beeped for the nth number of time. She hasn't answered any of his calls or his 50 messages to be precise. Pragya alias chashmish was upset. She was hurt. Abhishek had not being completely honest with her, which was the reason she was angry on him. She was lying on her bed on her stomach and trying hard to concentrate on her book but it was all in vain. Her mobile beeped again, tired she took the mobile. It was a message from Abhishek-

Chashmish, please talk to me. I can explain. I am sorry. Give me one chance dear.

Pragya read the message over and over again and replied-

Okay. We will talk tomorrow.

She closed her book and was about to retire to sleep when she again received a message-

No chashmish. I want to clear things now.

She knew what that meant. He is going to come here. God!!! This guy... what's the matter with him. I hate you Abhishek (she said this for the 100^th time today)

***Mehra mansion***

Abhishek Mehra had had a bad day today, correction, it wasn't a bad day. It was the worst day for him. His relationship with chashmish could have breathed his last. All thanks to the morning show in college, chashmish got upset and that's it, he had thought. He had to set things right so, he left to the arora house.

Just as Abhi left, a car drove in the Mehra mansion. The girl in the car was a mess. Her eyes were red, the kohl was spread, anyone could tell, she had cried. Neil placed his hand on her shoulder and said- hey partner. We have reached. Alia looked at him and said- thank you for being there and got down from the car.

Alia locked herself in the washroom. She got the shower on and stood beneath it. She remembered the day that broke her-

Flashback-

After alia left from the auditorium with Neil, they went to their favorite place- the rehearsal hall. They practiced their normal routine and had fun like they did always. After an hour session of practice they sat down for a break. Neil asked- partner, so how is it going with Sid?

I don't know Neil. I am confused. Sometimes I feel, he likes me. But then, sometimes I feel I am no one to him.

Hey, it's okay alia. Give him some time. I am sure he likes you. I saw him staring at you today, when we were in the auditorium.

I know. And alia winked at him. Just then Sid came there.

Hey guys. How is it going?

Hi Sid. We were talking about you only. Alia gave Neil a death glare for saying that. Neil bit his tongue and tried to change the topic- you know what I have an important work, you guys talk, I will just come. He left leaving alia and sis alone.

The two were mum for a long time and Sid broke the silence-

Alia you are a very nice girl. But, I don't want you to have any thoughts about us. You are my best friend's sister, that's it. You are my friend, nothing more. I am sorry if I ever hurt you. Sorry. That's it and he left.

Flashback ends

Alia broke down and cried. - Why Sid? Why? I love you Sid. I always have. And she wept. Sid...Sid...she cried all night and when she no longer felt her tears she dozed off.

***arora house***

Abhishek was sitting in pragyas bed while Pragya was looking out the window. Abhi could no longer take the silence and spoke-

Chashmish, Talk to me.

Pragya turned around and said- what should we talk about?

Don't say like that chashmish. I know you are angry on me.

No Abhishek. I am not angry on you.

Talk to me, please. Your silence is killing me. Ask me whatever you want to. Hit me. Slap me. But, please speak up.

Pragya went near him and looked straight into his eyes. She asked- do you love me?

Yes chashmish I love you. I love you a lot...

She smiled and said- I love you too Abhishek. Do you trust me?

Abhishek held her shoulder and said- of course I trust you.

Pragya moved her hair behind her ears and said- thanks. Trust is the base of any relationship. I want to trust you Abhishek but, I also want you to be honest with him tell me the truth.

Abhishek said- ask chashmish.

You used to love her. Now you don't, Right? She was you girlfriend right?

Abhi removed his hands from her shoulder and said- yes (with a sigh)
