Chapter Ten
Hotel Grand Imperial
After checking in their respective rooms and informing everyone at home of their safe arrival.Pragya and Abhi goes to the conference hall,to set everything ready for tomorrow's presentation. Though they have been working for about an hour they still have lot of work to do.so Abhi ask the rest of them to take a break,while he will make arrangements for their dinner. After a while,Pragya who was crossing the room stumbles on a box and was about to fall,she closes her eyes fearing the impact.When Abhi catches her,by securely holding her waist while her hand clutches his collar.She slowly opens her eyes seeing Abhi holding her.They were lost in each other eyes.After sometime the slowly come back to their senses.Abhi slowly releases her.After a minute of awkward silence. Abhi:Are you alright Pragya?
Pragya:Yes I am fine.Thank you.
Abhi:Come it's getting late I will drop you to your room.
Pragya:But we still have to complete some work.
Abhi:We will do it in the morning,I am really tired come on. After wishing each other good night.Abhi goes to his room opposite to her.Both fell asleep lost in each others thoughts.
Monday Morning
After getting everything ready for the presentation
Pragya:Why have not they reached yet,it is already 11.10 and the meeting was scheduled at 11 right(tensed) Abhi:Why are you getting tensed.If that idiot didn't reach here within thirty minutes, the loss will be only for him but there wont be any loss for us so don't worry.
Pragya:What are you saying sir,we have come here for our presentation right,if the clients didn't come then all these designs will be waste right?
Abhi:No,If he didn't reach here within thirty minutes then I will launch these designs as my latest wedding collection.So the loss will be only his.
Pragya:You really want to launch my designs?
Abhi:Ofcourse,I like ypur designs.I will lauch it if he didn't come. Pragya:Relaxes a bit hearing that the company wont suffer any loss because of her. Ten minutes later Mishra reaches the hotel along with his assistant. Abhi:To my bad luck,he is lucky today.
Pragya smiles.
Mishra:I am really sorry for beging late Mr.Mehra got stuck in the traffic.Can we start our presentation now. Abhi:(Though he was angry at him he doesn't express it instead replays politely) Ofcourse Mr.Mishra take a seat, we will start the presentation now.
After the presentation got over.
Mishra:I have heared a lot about,how unique your designs are Mr.Mehra,today you have proved it,what a designs,they are fabulous.
Abhi:The credit of these designs does not belong to me Mr.Mishra they belong to my new designer Miss.Pragya Arora.
Mishra:Miss.Arora you have done a fabulous work.Keep up this good work. Pragya:The credit doesn't solely belong to me Sir,it belongs to everyone in Phoenix creation who had helped me in finishing these designs.
Mishra:Smiles.Both of you should come to my house this evening,I have kept a small party to celebrate the success of this project.
Abhi:Sorry Mr.Mishra I don't usually attend parties.
Mishra:Come on Mr.Mehra it is just a small party only few of my acutance will be there,please do come,by the way it is Miss.Arora's first success it will give her more exposure in this field. Abhi:Ok Mr.Mishra we will come.

Purab and Rishab were going to the restaurant below for lunch,when they saw Bulbul pacing to and fro besides the swimming pool looking tensed.
Purab:(Now what's the matter why is she looking tensed)Hey Bulbul why are you walking to and fro ya?sit in one place,seeing you like this is making me dizzy.
Bulbul:Look Purab I am already tensed don't spoil my mood further ok. Purab:Tensed why?what is the matter?
Bulbul:It is my first performance after college,what if I do something wrong. Purab:Good,how will you not be tensed,you where eating away my head during the practice section right.Purab I can't do this,PurabI need a break and non stop talking while dancing if you behave like this then how will you remember your steps properly,now I know that our performance will go bad because of you.
Bulbul:What did you say,the program will go bad because of me,you wait and watch Purab Khanna,after watching my performance today you will take back everything you said to me(walks away angrily) Rishab:Purab ya what happened to you?Why are you irritating her? Purab:She is not tensed anymore,it was just because of lack of confidence,she has a mission now that is to prove me wrong.Now she will dance with determination she was lacking previously. Rishab:You where doing it on purpose to boost her confidence. Purab:Yes bro.Now come I am hungry.
Evening
Abhi and Pragya reaches Mishra's house.
Pragya:This is a small party?(looking around the crowd in disbelief) Abhi:Smiles at her.This is fashion world Miss.Arora don't believe anyone so easily,otherwise you won't be able to survive in this world.Most of the people here will be will be smiling and praising your work but in their mind they will be planning how to remove you out of their way so that their will be less competition for them.
Pragya:I will keep your advice in my mind sir.

After that he starts introducing them to others present in the party.(after sometime)Since she was tired and does not like these sort of parties, she decides to ask Abhi whether they can leave early.She sees Abhi talking to few elderly people and goes to them.
Sharma:So how is everyone at your home?
Abhi:They are fine Mr.Sharma.
Sharma:Mr.Mehra why is your dad not attending the business parties anymore and especially your mom I haven't seen both of them for a long time(Sneers)is there a problem Mr.Mehra. Abhi:(Though he was seething with anger he replied as politely as he could)You know Mr.Shrama I don't mix my personal life with my professional life and I am here to celebrate the sucess of my business deal.I hope you understand,will you please excuse me.
He walks away angrily,Pragya who has listened to the whole conversation goes after him.He didn't stop even when she called out to him.
Pragya:Abhi(Shouts his name in order to stop him)
Hearing her calling his name he turns around to talk in to her. Pragya:I mean sir,where are you going between the party?
Abhi:Look if you want to attend the party go ahead,but leave me alone and stop bothering me understand(angrily)
Pragya:what am I going to do there alone I don't even know the people there that well. Abhi's anger melts down seeing her innocent face.
Abhi:I am sorry Pragya,I was in a bad mood and I lashed out on you.I am sorry. Pragya:Its ok sir.Actually I came here to ask whether we can leave this party early.I am very tired. Abhi:Don't spoil your party because of me,come lets go inside. Pragya:No sir I am really tired and I don't like these sort of parties,can we please leave from here. Abhi:Ok we will leave after informing Mr.Mishra.
Abhi:Mr.Mishra it is getting late and we need to go.
Mishra:But you just came now,please stay for some more time.
Abhi:We need to leave early tomorrow morning,my dadi is not well and she is alone at home.I hope you understand.

The dance performance begins.They danced so beautifully that no one could find any flaw in their performance.At the end of the performance they received a standing ovation from the audience. Backstage
Bulbul:Now do you accept your defeat Mr.Purab Khanna.
Purab:Just because you danced well in this program doesn't mean that you will perform well in next program.
Bulbul:You know what talking to a person like you is of no use. Purab:Then why are you talking to me?
Bulbul walks away angrily.
Rishab:Why are you always irritating her ya?
Purab:That girl has lot of potential bro,I want her to dance better than this in her next performance.So I applied the same trick again.

Bulbul was shocked after hearing this.She goes to her room.
Rishab:(In his mind)Why are you doing this Purab I am trying my level best to bring you both together.I know you are doing this deliberately,but you wont excape this time.You just wait and watch bro,what I am going to donow.

Bulbul:(In her mind)Purab is such a nice guy,it is my mistake that I always fails to understand him.Rishab is right I don't know anything about Purab,I can only understand him,if I spent more time with him.I wish I can get a friend like him in future.

Purab:(In his mind)When I try my level best to stay away from her,I even try to behave rudely with her,then why do I end up talking and fighting with her always.No I can't let this happen, Bulbul is innocent I have to stay away from her.I can't let anything happen to her because of me.

Pragya:(In her mind)Why was Abhi angry when that uncle enquired about his parents?His eyes contained so much pain and anger, what is actually bothering him?Is he sad because of past that mom and dadi where talking about? But what could have happened that even after twelve years it is still paining him? Abhi's Room
Abhi:All I want is to forget my past and move ahead in my life but where ever,I go my past is haunting me,Why did you guys do this to me? All I wanted was answer to my questions but even after all these years I didn't receive any answer(Silent tears fall down his cheeks).His thoughts where broken by the shrill ring of his cellphone.
Prasanth:Hello Abhi its me Prasanth.Sorry I disturbed you at this time,it is just that I couldn't reach Pragya's number.
Abhi:Its alright uncle Pragya is in her room, when I saw her in the evening she looked tired,uncle please wait
