Abhi may have not realized yet, but we all know he loves her, and he fell in love with the person she is, that is why even Shabbir said 'If Abhi were to fall in love with her when she is dressed up or in a western look, then he would have fallen for her long time back'. Which is why Pragya accepting to shoot for the promo, just because Tanu might be selected, shows that she is trying to take Tanu's place, whereas she doesn't need to take her place, she needs to make her own place in Abhi's heart and she has, all by her own.

And Pragya had no idea about this jealousy thing. It was all Aaliyah Purab planning. Purab told Pragya that she should do it for Abhi's success and all. He portrayed it as he wanted Pragya to be the woman behind Abhi's success and not Tanu.

So, other things aside, Pragya is very much consistent and in her character according to me...in this episode!

And NO, she is NOT trying to take Tanu's place. Tanu was NEVER the reason for Abhi's success. Abhi is a self-made man. In fact, he was the one behind Tanu's modelling success. So, Pragya agreeing to do the promo shoot for Abhi's sake doesn't make her trying to take Tanu's place.

I would have preferred if Pragya had agreed to shoot for the promo for Abhi's sake, so that his album is a major hit. I'm a business and a marketing major, so I understand that the producers would want to use 'AbhiGya's latest kidnapping track and Pragya saving Abhi' to generate publicity for Abhi's new album. If the campaign demands it, the model does not need be a professional one, as long as it helps sell the album.

But Pragya agreeing to the shoot for any other reason, is not like her at all. She should start trusting her instincts more, and Purab's plan less.
