First of all thank you thank you for the quick update!

Then coming to the story... You actually made me feel sorry for Aaliyah! 😲 😆 I love the way Daadi Forgives her saying she was a good child.. The way she understands Aaliyah. And then Pragya doing the same later becoming the much needed strength to Aaliyah and proving why Pragya was Daadi's choice. She is just like her in her approach!

Abhi! So hurt so confused! Wonder how the story will move on. Thinking Tannu would have a bigger role in the coming updates.😕 Anyway Abhi is comparing Pragya and Tannu, and I like that!

It's just been a month and a few days since Bulbul and Purab got married. They were happily married. They laughed together and they cried. They supported one another and they loved each other, that's all that really mattered. Bulbul recalled what Pragya had told her about Aaliyah. About giving her another chance. Allow her to redeem herself. That she had changed. But Bulbul wasn't so keen. Not again. She had made the mistake of trusting Aaliyah's intentions before and now that she was married, she couldn't risk it. She did not want to give that woman the benefit of the doubt. If she could cheat her own family, then what value did Bulbul's marriage have in her eyes? And there was no going back this time. If she tried anything with Purab.. No. Everything has just become so complicated. Bulbul sighed. The shaadi was meant to fix everything. It was meant to represent truth prevailing, love prevailing. Then why were there so many problems now? Why was there apprehension? Bulbul knew how much Pragya di wanted her to give Aaliyah another chance. She knew Purab would agree for Abhi, especially after dadi's death. He had been civil towards her, he wasn't cold. He had a big heart, he always did. Something she loved about him. He was always willing to sacrifice in her name. Always willing to sacrifice for her safety.

"Mum. What's with all the questions!?"

"Tanu beta, what else are we meant to do? What has Abhi said?"

"Mum, he's still grieving. He needs more time."

"Tanu, what is this? Before Supriya ji's death, Abhi needed some time. It had been over a month and still your papa and I are getting the same excuse?" Neeta asked, exasperated over her daughter's justifications.

"Mum, just"

"Tanu beta, me and your father need to go back to the US soon. We have no intentions of shifting back to India." Tanu huffed at her mother's attitude. She was not understanding. Tanu knew her mum was right in her place but Tanu was confused too. Abhi was giving her mixed signals and she didn't recognise anything anymore. She wanted Abhi. She loved him. He was hers.

Then why this restlessness? Why this uncertainty?

Abhi watched Pragya as she began praying to god. He watched her closed eyes, her sincerity, her care and stood transfixed. He had been doing that a lot lately. Just staring at her. He wondered if she was the rock star or him. It was like a whole new transformation. He wasn't looking at Pragya: chashmish, boring, practical, civilised. He was looking at a new Pragya: caring. Okay she had always been caring, but still. He was just in awe. Watching her from this new perspective. There were no words. She was just amazing. She was perfect in every way.

Pragya blushed. She reviewed the past few days, the past 2 weeks to be exact. It was like the dynamics in her relationship with Abhi had changed. Not only with Abhi, but with everyone. She smiled as she remembered Aaliyah's words of encouragement. "I've seen the way he has started looking at you bhabhi. He's falling in love." Pragya could only hope. She dared not voice her feelings out loud. Although this was what dadi had wanted. She knew she could, maybe she would. Just not yet, not now. It was not the time, she couldn't. Not until she knew this was what he wanted too. In all honestly, she was afraid. Afraid of rejection.
