They say eyes are the mirror to your soul, but for people like Chashmish, it's their chashma that does the job, also known as spectacles and glasses-
So actually,
They are her identity.
They are the symbol of the solidarity of her friendship with her best friend, who also wears similar ones.. and the lost memories of their never meant to be short sighted love story.
They have managed to win over her husband more than she ever could. He is in love with them. He couldn't call her, pretty, sweetie or darling, but the way he called her Chashmish was way more loving. He may be able to let her go but not them!
They never let her be alone, always are by her side, actually in front of her eyes, day and night, unless her husband questions her on why would she sleep with them!
They didn't let her feel alone, even when she was dragged by the goons, when she took sprints and ran marathons, when she was drugged and tied. They stood by her when her husband wasn't there, when her family and friends couldn't be there.
They are more powerful than the sacred symbols. Gone were her bangles, gone were her earrings, gone was her veil, but they are with her, in all their might guiding her to the light.
So, long live chashma, long live their bond with Chashmish!
