So I've changed my mind regarding the story track. I have decided to write this story from the start and the track is completely different.
Characters and Story Line:
Pragya: Same as the show just a bit more outspoken and doesn't take nonsense from anyone. She is a Teacher and also does humanitarian work.
Abhi and the rest are the same - I am deleting Rachna, Suresh, and Aakash's family from this. So in Abhi's family it's daadi, 2 daasis, Aaliyah (who is a positive character).
Pragya was an only child to parents Sarla and Mahesh. Mahesh died in a car accident a few years ago and Sarla is having health issues just like In the show.
Tanu is Aaliyah's best friend and is a supermodel just like in the show.
So the story goes that Pragya meets Abhi's Daadi at a UN held event, which honors child nutrition and health. Pragya was a well-known health advocate in Mumbai and she was invited to these events regularly. Daadi in turn was the matriarch of the most affluent famly in India and was considered the guest of honor due to her large donations, support, and simplicity.
Abhi is a Rockstar, a good person by heart, a tad bit arrogant at times, and always does what is right and believes strongly in justice. He sacrifices for his family who he loves dearly.
So when Daadi meets Pragya she is mesmerized and impressed about her simplicity, good heart, and how beautiful she is. She notices that Pragya has good values and respects her elders. Just the kind of girl Abhi needs. She takes the proposal to Sarla and their marriage gets fixed. Abhi and Pragya are at odds because they have nothing in common except for the love that each other have for their respective families and they decide that to make Sarla and Daadi happy they should marry. So they get married. I will start telling the story from the wedding night onwards.
