sarvggun sampanna Bahu

Hiya everyone, I am new around here and have been watching KKB casually.
In today's episode Dadi called Pragya "sarvggun sampanna", it makes me think that Ekta mayya is in 90's Rajshree space and telling the audience that this Bahu is obedient and patient even if her husband doesn't appreciate her like he should. Why is she even altering Abhi's suit ? Rockstar ke lie koi tailor nahi mil sakta kya😕😕. I s this their idea of "romance"?
Why make a caricature of a character who is supposed to be intelligent , independent by making her a abla nari to appease the audiences???

great question!! i wish i had an answer. my closest guess it it's a bait and switch trick...they promoted pragya as independent and fierce to attract viewers, but once they got into the story of her marriage they fell back on all the old characterizations...

idk if that makes sense, just my cynical take today :)

I think many amongst the indian audiences like to put the female lead on a pedestal, where she is all mahaan and gullible, all my aunties enjoy such shows where the lead herione sufferes a LOT to gain the love of the "hero"🤢🤢.

@PTgfan yes, pragya should give less bhav to Abhi... and I kekta ke pass sets ki kaami hai isiliye Tanu is always at the Mehra mansion😆
