Even with Sense and Sensibility, what the show is very loosely based on, the girl is supposed to be cool headed, etc but when it came down to the guy she ended up falling for, she lost her cool, she became immature a bit. Love is supposed to change you in a certain extent. Or at least it is until both members of a couple accept their feelings and declare it

Abhi just gets that silly/childish side out of her, and she let's go of her demure/serious self with him. And he himself gets really into his unbelievable silliness all the more with Pragya. And they only fought in front of RaBul and Lalwani (this producer guy is a family friend and quite used to their antics now) and when it came to real public (which was super annoying in the end, I did not like how they just went to accuse Pragya being a dirty woman etc.), Abhi did get serious and shut their mouths calling her his wife.
