yeahh I was thinking the same thing. I feel like the only person he could possibly be doing this for is abhi && maybe a part of him reacting in shock at once again seeing this dark side of aliya. I would be dumbfounded if the person I grew up with pulled a jackel & hyde with me.

ALTHOUGH, I must say I was surprised that Aliya didn't jump at the offer. her concept of "willingly" marrying has changed lol

From Purab's point of view, Pragya is perfect for Abhi. But is Abhi perfect for Pragya? I can see why Abhi's Daadi will think that a simple, honest girl can bring balance to Abhi's showbiz influenced life. But Purab has known Abhi dearly, he knows Tannu still hangs out with Abhi and more importantly he also knows Abhi married Pragya for revenge. So what is the point in Purab sacrificing his love BB and marry Aaliyah and shipping AbhiGya?

@Tia, that is such a good point! in one sense, purab will be doing pragya an injustice by helping her stay with abhi because despite how good for abhi and how much in love she is - keeping her with someone who doesn't yet realize or understand quite how significant she is - is an ignorant "gift"/wish to give.

kind of reminds me of DAK (catch that on & off) - and I remember in the beginning, Ishaan made excuses for his bestie samrat because deep down he had faith in samrat. he had faith in his best friend, he could see how good urmi was, and he really thought that would be enough to bring a change in his friend eventually leading to happily ever after.

It's kind of the same with purab's intentions for abhi & pragya. in theory, it's a nice thought but so much needs to change to make abhigya a real reality.
