bengali hindu weddings (like on tere liye) interest me a lot, though i'm not familiar with them in real life! on tv serials they always feature the groom doing the pheres/ritual part in an undershirt, which i always find kind of...😕

but otherwise there are a lot of really meaningful rituals and onushtans/ceremonies that are cool 😊

i really wanna talk about why abhigya are meant to be, what makes them soul mates, why they're the best for each other. but i think it kind of doesn't matter why; we can come up with really good character-based explanations, but the show is never going to need to prove that they belong together, it's just sort of taken for granted that they do...or no? am i being too...dismissive?? quite possible i'm so moody lately 🤔
