I also loved how Indu Daasi taught Tannu to take the aarti. She might taunt and tease her, but she also cares for Tannu, I've come to realise. Which, I think is sweet!

I think Dadi has seen the bad days and struggles and how Abhi got the entire family out of it.

Abhi I think said to Pragya once that he doesn't believe in God cos God wasn't there when they were in bad shape. He came up though his own hard work.

Dadi respects where he's coming from and that's commendable coming from a woman her age.

i think a girl like pragya would be deeply disappointed to be tied for life to an atheist. BUT pragya specifically isn't too too bothered because she's lattu for other reasons. and i think she has the mentality that he can believe his, i can believe mine...so she's not disappointed precisely. dunno if that made sense to you guys :P

But maybe she believes that what is more important is that he is a good person. Atheist or not, he is still a good person, na. And she could always change his mind. And she even knows the reason of why he thinks this way.

Makes complete sense... I think Pragya realises that there must be a deep down reason that he doesn't believe in God and I have a feeling that she will get him to change his views slightly about God

He implied that God wasn't there to help when they were poor and everything he has was because of him (When he sees the mandir in the room) which might be the reason that he doesn't believe in all that...and Tanu also doesn't which is why he probably also thinks Pragya is not the one for him (Again implied in the same scene) and she does understand na...because in the dusshera episode she tells him i know you're angry with God but don't take it out on your family.
